The restaurant looks fun and inviting but we ordered the $14 guacamole made table side as a starter--when we finally got it (35 minute wait) it was very good yet our dinner food dropped at the same and it was hard keeping the flies away and to enjoy it. Service was very slow, left for 25 minutes with empty water bottle and had wanted another cocktail but by the time server returned it was well beyond. We left and went to a bar close by for a drink. little bit disappointed...
It was horrible Sevice was the worst and food was cold and Disgusting it made me sick
The waiter you made us guacamole made it with big chunks, which I determined it avocado was not ripe. Very disappointed. Overall, it was an okay experience.
One star is too good for this place. Horribly disgusting is all I can say about this dive of a restaurant. I honestly donât know how they stay in business. We were in the mood for a casual Mexican dinner for a Tuesday. Started with chips and salsa - how can you really screw that up? Well, they did. So much disgusting spice sprinkled all over the chips. Who does this??!! Tasteless salsa - all three kinds that accompanied this pile of salty, terracotta mess. We almost left after the chips and a couple of tequilas. Against our better judgement we stuck it out and ordered the double taco platter of tasteless chicken, yellow rice and black beans. All the while watching the table side guacamole preparer making his rounds blending the avocado mixture with a toothpick hanging out of his mouth. If you want to see the debasement of America, along with the worst food you can put in your mouth, then youâll find it here.
Everything about our experience this time was not up to par. Other than the tableside guac and chips, the rest of the food was mediocre (and that is being generous). My father ordered tacos without cheese and they came out with cheese. The waitress brought the dish back to the kitchen and when it came back out again only minutes later - you could tell they just took the cheese off the top. There were remnants of cheese still on plate and tacos. Then when we showed the waitress, she brought it back. For the third time again, it came back out with cheese. It was horrible. The rest of the tacos were dry and the salad we ordered had wilted lettuce. It was just such a bad experience overall especially since we frequent the restaurant often.
Very reasonable Mexican food. Happy hour has great appetizers and cocktails.
The food is always good at Roccos. But I wish they would honor the same price for wine and margaritas thats in the happy hr menu. I mean if your eating at 6 whats the harm? But $9 for wine when it could be $5 at the bar makes me rethink making reservations and eating at a table.
My husband & I made this a date night. Guacamole made table side was the best. We should have ordered the big nachos platter but had several tacos instead. Tasty meats in carne asada but very tough. It is a fun place and we will go back.
The server (i) kept forgetting items or bringing 1/2 of what was asked for (iced tea without any ice?); (ii) would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time; (iii) had to wait almost 20 minutes for a check after asking for it; and (iv) when asking a hostess or manager for our server they, too disappeared. Been going here a long time and have never had such poor service. Food is consistently good, but had to bring the poor service to management's attention.
We both had taco salads with grilled chicken. It was perfect. The chicken was tender and delicious. The taco shell crunchy. For dessert we had the Mexican brownie. First time having it. Was yummy.
