Great outdoor seating in "porch swings" at one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. Indoor option as well. Typically pretty busy but less so now that it's off season. One of our favorites.
Having been a loyal patron for years, I just have to say how upsetting it is that Rise has increased the pricing and reduced their portion sizes significantly. I've referred so many people there over the years and had enjoyed it for so long, but now, they've outpriced me. As the portion sizes of the rolls has decreased so much I now have to order a couple of pieces of sushi to supplement - I was BLOWN AWAY when I was charged $14 for two - yes, $7 for one!!!!!!! And $25 for two glasses of a below average Chardonnay that was about $12 a bottle. What a shame. All I can say, is BUMMER. Hoping they'll reconsider passing on this horrible economy to their patrons of years.
We had a very flavorful meal. Chicken Cashew, tuna roll, ,dynamite roll, and lobster shrimp appetizer. All were good. Service was average.

Sad to say this was a second attempt before letting this one go..The energy of this restaurant is zero. There is no pulse, the staff is not friendly and the service was poor.The food was completely mediocre. We gave this one another chance as the location is nice. We had gyoza, completely bland. A spicy rainbow roll, which was actually bizarre. It's pretty hard to screw up a rainbow roll...i wish, in hindsight, I took a picture it was tasteless. The seaweed salad was great.We will not be back and it looks like others may be feeling the same. It was pretty empty.So disappointing and just awful.
A generous 4 star for this sushi place as the seating outside is nice and the service was ok.We asked straws for the cups of water and they initially told us 'no straws'. Then they served us a mojito with a straw...You get 10 pieces per roll but quality is not on the highest end and flavour wise, it's just blah...There are better sushi options in Boca.
Extremely poor experience as a whole.Service: We had a 6:30pm reservation for 9. The check-in crew is discourteous. Worse than a low-end Chinese buffet restaurant where the staff just wants to dump you at your table and run.Our waitress took unprofessionalism to a whole new level. She was rushing us as soon as we received the menus and rudely continued to do do so. For example, she would ask if we needed something without stopping walking. Felt like a drive-by waitress.The cooked food looks very presentable and the portiins are large, but it is bland and unflavorful.Same with the sushi. The seafood chirashi had a bunch of sashimi dumped on a thick bed of rice.I judge sushi restaurants on the quality of rice served with the sushi. Not very palatable.Definitely never going back. Fyi, this was my 2nd dining experience at Rise sushi.
I love Rise Sushi!!! For years my wife and children have dined and celebrated with friends here, even since their previous location. Everything we've ever ordered was amazing! Come check it out for yourself!
Nice place with plenty of parking. Outside seating on a swing over looking the lake. Good sushi variety.
We went there as a family. 7 of us! The server was excellent, as was the food! We will be back for sure. Drove from Ft Lauderdale to Boca for this delicious feast!! Wonderful time for our daughters Birthday!!
