Bring your own water jug! Prezzo has some great tasting food. I’ve been here multiple times now and the food is always outstanding, my compliments to the chef. Vibe is cool especially if you sit outside or in the bar area. My main issue with this place is the service is subpar (especially for the prices you pay). Last two times my wife and I went they wait staff never refilled our drinks and they seldom check in with you which is super annoying if you want something like extra ketchup. And both times it was off peak times and I could see my servers standing talking to each other. Previously working in the food industry, it takes A LOT to get me to tip less than 20% but the last 2 times I’ve been here I’ve tipped under 20% because I refuse to pay someone that doesn’t prioritize service and the customer. Do better and you will make way more, I promise!
Incredible experience. Food was excellent but owner Eddie is what truly stands out! He is passionate about hospitality, appreciates his local guests and it shows. Happy to support him and will spread the word to friends in town. Smoked Burrata is a super fun dish as presentation is interactive. Lamb chops were cooked to perfection. Almond cookies are dangerously good — be sure to save room for dessert!
Went on a Friday night, first time being there for Happy Hour with friends.Sat at the bar, Happy hour drinks were amazing. Bartenders Ramsey, Chris and Anna were absolutely terrific, they go above and beyond to makethe customer happy. Unfortunately the happy hour food was terrible. Expensive and very little food. They had a band that played good music. Will be back, only for drinks and music and of course the bartenders.
A very noisy restaurant with loud music being piped into entire restaurant . As to the food; you would be better off to stay home and boil a box of spaghetti and pour some Ragu on it.... I am Italian. I know good Italian food and it was not served at this restaurant. Also, please note: high prices and small quantities.
I called for a delivery and learned the restaurant was closed for a staff appreciation event. When I explained that I was interested in ordering cookies for my children’s teacher appreciation week, Jason called me back and went out of his way to not only deliver the cookies to my home but then declined payment! Truly a caring, community-oriented business. And the almond cookies are the best I have ever tasted!
I used to frequent the one in west Boca years ago and had yet to get to this new location. I was there last Saturday night and then again last night. The food that we had was great, but even better than that was Mike, our waiter. Mike waited on a friend and myself Saturday night, and when I sat down last night, he was spot on bringing me the same adult beverage as 5 days earlier. He was professional personable, and I'm totally impressed. I will always ask for his section when I'm back there!!!
Very enjoyable experience. Our food orders were excellent and the our waiter, Joe, was extremely attentive. As the restaurant filled up with people, our coffee/dessert order came different times; but this is really the result of the pandemic on the demands of the waitstaff and I have experienced these little glitches at other restaurants as well. Tough times...but getting back to normal. Restaurant is also a very good value.
We have been very happy with Prezzo for dinner but today's lunch experience was a let-down. My partner loved his Milanese sandwich, the service was fine, but my Eggplant Caprese Stack left much to be desired. The bottom eggplant slice was mushy and the top one was like a hockey puck, the tomato was hard and not ripe enough. Nice balsamic and mozzarella, but altogether a disappointment at $17. Why send it out of the kitchen like this? Suggest more sandwiches for lunch.
To celebrate our son’s birthday, we took him and his wife to Prezzo for lunch. I wanted someplace a little nicer than a neighborhood Italian restaurant, and Prezzo seemed to fit the bill. This was our first visit and I really wanted to like it. I must say, my reaction was mixed. On the plus side, it is an attractive room. We arrived at 12:15, and while the outside tables were inviting, we chose to dine inside. We were the only inside customers the entire time we were there. Our server was very professional and staff checked on us throughout the meal. It being a Sunday, we were given a brunch menu from which we ordered Caesar Salads, Fried Calamari, Chicken Parm, Milanese Sandwich and Shrimp Francese. They accommodated my wife with Eggplant Parm from the weekday lunch menu. On the negative side, no complementary bread was brought to the table (they do offer a bread choice on the menu). There was a very long wait until our first course was delivered and an even longer wait for our entrees. As for the food, it was just okay. Side pastas were luke warm and nothing was really memorable. It was strange that they charged $3.00 to substitute broccoli for fries as a side but they did not charge to substitute pasta for spinach as another side. Odd. Overall, it was an okay lunch but not sure if it’s worth a return visit.
