I love pollo tropical, I eat there 4-5 times a week. But this location has a gentleman at the window who’s rema to be special needs. There is nothing wrong with this, but you shouldn’t put him at the window. He has messed up multiple orders that I have seen and one after noon he messed up mine when I believe I saw him clear it and had to remake it. He was frustrated to the point he was cussing the computer and himself out. I’m not saying to fire him but please take him off the window.
Terrible service. I complained my order has not been called, and she found it on the counter with no receipt. Instead of just hand me the order and say something nice, she started shouting at me. I have been mistreated there several times. What is suppose to be a pleasure, becomes a nightmare. The employees treat the customers like the were doing a favor to them.Pollo tropical, that was the last time you saw me.
This is the closest pollo to my apartment and it always hits the spot, definitely recommend this location. Try the curry mustard by the way ;)
This restaurant screwed up my take out order and has refused to fix it no matter how many times i have asked.This restaurant just stole nearly $35.00 from me for food made wrong for food that was gross.How does a Pollo Tropical chain restaurant get away with serving the wrong food and stealing a customers money??
I love this place but they burn my shrimps this time, I just didn't wanted to go back and get my money back!
This place has become an absolute dump! I hadn’t been here in a long time and now I know I will never come again. I ordered a Cuban sandwich, for which I feel like I waited way too long. But that’s not the main issue! As I was handed my food, the lady just declared to me that the sandwich has no ham because they’re out of it or what not. Like really lady? I’m just supposed to be ok with you giving me to eat an item on your menu with missing ingredients like it’s something normal? No heads up? No “hey we’re out of ham” type of communication? You just hand out whatever food and charge full price for it? In what part of the world is this normal? I then went to the counter to as for sauce, one lady stood there looking at me while another had her back at me. So no sauce… I took the sandwich because I was really hungry and my lunch hour was about to be gone, but that was it for me and this place! Never again!!! I hope they go out of business!
From ONE star to FIVE because of manager EvaLisa and her professionalism! She saved my loyalty to the brand. We get it....short staffed and over worked. The difference is just owning up to your errors and doing right by the customer. I'm old LOL and have been eating PT since 1998! When the service and food are done right; it's still one of my faves. OWNERS! Hire more help or pay them more. We need PT around for another 23 years because no wants to grill their own chicken (lol).
Visiting this Pollo Tropical was a very unexpected pleasure. Unfortunately, it is very rare to find a clean Pollo Tropical with staff that actually cares about the customer. This location was a great experience with quick, friendly and accurate service. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very customer service oriented. There was no waiting and being ignored like we have experienced at many other Pollo Tropical locations. We will definitely return to this location again.
The restaurant is pretty average, probably a 3 star HOWEVER the Manager Eva is a 5 star woman! I went there tonight for dinner and went thru the drive thru and the woman that rang up my order overcharges me so I asked for a Manager.I could see the Manager as she already had made eye contact with me to let me know that she would be right with me. I was charged a different price than was was listed on the drive thru menu. I thought they had just raised the price and had not taken the time to update it. The truth was the woman ringing up my order had over charged me. Eva promptly took care of it and I was given a free meal. She had me pull over so I didn't hold up the line for the folks behind me. I saw her quickly coming out to return my debit card and on the way out she was helping yet another customer. Eva was hustling and my hope is that her manager will see this review and reward her!
Unfortunately adding to the other negative reviews. Got the order home and the family meal was missing 3 of the 5 components (got chicken and beans, was missing the rice, plantains and bread). We also ordered a wrap that was just completely missing.I recommend avoiding this location.
