Good thin very crisp slice. Hot and a good blend of cheese and tomato sauce. Big piece. The single-slice lunch offer is NOT on the menu, but it was $4.50 for the slice and $4. for the soda. I got a whopping $.36 discount for using cash. After tax: $9.09 Other dishes passing by to other tables looked good. But, a bit high priced for lunch and type of restaurant. They do have some nice lunch specials which I will try on next visit. Little hard to spot from Cameno Real Rd Approach. Watch for the drug store and turn on that side street. It's in the strip mall on the west side.
Not the same as it used to be. We have been coming to and getting take out from pizza time for several years. It was always my favorite in so many ways but we had a not great and very strange experience the other day.A young man (tall, thin; brown hair; around 20 years old) set us up at a table. My 2 year old had a few sugar packets on the table counting them and stacking them. He came by and grabbed them from her, without saying anything, put them back in the plastic container and moved them away from her to the other end of our table. Our pizza came out, and before we were all done the young man came by again and tried to take my daughters plate away from her while she was still clearly eating with food in her mouth. Again never said a word every time he came by walking laps around the restaurant the whole time. The pizza has changed in the last year or so. The sauce has gotten sweeter and it’s just not up to par from what it used to be. Very disappointed since my favorite place, is definitely not my favorite anymore.A friend of mine had a strange experience aswell the night before us. She was waiting outside for a table with her 4 year old and he banged toy on the window, she stopped him after. The same young man came out and screamed at him for doing it and told him he better not do it again. After waiting over an hour once they ordered their pizza, she said it was not great either.
Good…but VERY VERY expensive!
always a great meal never disappointed
An authentic and unforgettable experience in South Florida, Pizza Time is the epitome of the warmth, generosity and feel good family values that is the Italian culture.Perfectly unassuming as it's name suggests, what you see is what you get. The focus here is on the pizza and the people period. We thought we were going to have good pizza, we were referred to Pizza Time for "really good" pizza, what we received was unbelievably good pizza! With extraordinary service. It's been almost 5 months since we sat at a booth in the high energy yet, calm atmosphere of Pizza Time and the experience was so immersive, so memorable and so wonderfully satisfying and incredibly friendly that I can write this review even now with absolute clarity and accuracy of our experience. No reservations. First come first serve. So we waited patiently with positive expectation. Once inside and seated we were surrounded by brick walls adorned with autographed photos of famous faces that had at one time shared the same experience and also by the faces of family reinforcing the values of trust and feeling of love that was palpable the moment you entered. Gaetano gave new meaning to 'say it loud and say it proud!' Commanding attention with humility to keep everyone happy and present in the moment. Conversations between the staff and the kitchen swirl openly all around you - we were in Gae's house and his casa quickly became our casa. The food portions were as generous as the taste and quality. This is what skill and passion taste like. This is a simple and powerfully spectacular restaurant that you must experience when you're in Boca Raton. There was someone waiting for a pick up order who drove all the way from Miami....Pizza Time is that good.Grazie mille Gaetano and the staff at Pizza Time! Meeting you and experiencing your hospitality was one of the highlights of our trip. You are blessed to be a blessing to many as you were indeed to us.
Have ordered from Pizza Time on a number of occasions and have never had a bad experience.. to the contrary the staff is NY professional and witty only adding to the atmosphere of a local place you want to frequent regularly. The food is generally great.. so reading some review crashing the restaurant about a “burnt” crust.. their loss..we love Pizza Time regardless if theres an occasional hiccup.. no ones perfect but their food is greatBill Kay
Most of these of these negative reviews are accurate! We ordered take out this evening and asked about some of the reviews indicating long waits and that food isn’t prepped until customers arrive. The girl on the phone assured us that this is not that case and that they simply wait to box the food once customers arrive. We had a 9pm pickup time and I’m still waiting for food as I type this. No one boxing our food, so it seems it is actually being cooked while we wait. I understand that places are short staffed, but there is zero reason the the staff to be rude or the let a customers sit over 30 minutes past the time they promised the food would be ready!! When my husband asked how much longer the wait would be, the “lovely” girl’s reply was, “We haven’t forgot about you. We’ll call you when it’s ready. Does it look like nobody’s doing nothing back there!” Really? After spending over $100 plus tip! The asked for cash. Nope. Not when they gave us this attitude and all the waiting! Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere! With so many small businesses in the area, we won’t return!
Excellent food! Friendly family atmosphere. Service was wonderful.
