Took my wife there for her birthday. The ambiance was lively and great for people watching. The baked shrimp was delicious and one of my favorites that always has me coming back for more. The bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly. The sides paired well and ultimately it was a success. NY Prime is a Boca staple and once again it didn’t disappoint. One of my top 3 steakhouses.

Never coming back. Way to expensive for what you receive in return. I will start with the good stuff, seafood platter as a starter and the smoked bacon, both of them were awesome and properly prepared, quality of the food is really good and service was professional. Now, the bad news, way to crowded, waiters we're not catching up even by doing their best, took 80 min to get our steaks, once we got them, all of them were burnt top and bottom, which was such a shame killing such a nice meat. Chips were also really burnt. I would have asked for replacement but I was fed up of waiting. Next day, felt really sick after this meal.
Outstanding meal & service. Drinks at the bar before sitting down. Desiree is wonderful, very personable and helpful. My fiancé is a chef and a restaurant owner and a big fan of this restaurant. This was my first time here tonight- packed on a Monday night. We really hit the jackpot with Fabiana as our server. One of the best servers we have ever had anywhere. Forget my no carbs diet. Large bread basket with numerous choices. Cheesy potatoes. I did try and balance it with a wonderful arugula Gorgonzola raisin candied walnut salad. And garlic grilled shrimp. Perfectly cooked. Fiancé’s steak was cooked perfectly. We also had the creamed spinach. Do you want dessert? No we’re too full we said. What’s this? Is that butter cake with ice cream? Bring it on!! Yum. I would say overall a great experience. The food was good and definitely didn't leave hungry. I am giving 5 stars mainly because Tiffany was just top notch she was very attentive and always asked us how we were doing. Food was good and I would say could stand toe to toe with most of the other steakhouses I have tried in the area. But if there is a reason I would go back it is because Tiffany, and I hope I am spelling the name right. There is good service and then there's exceptional service. She was just top notch. Thank you for making our experience here one of the best we have had since here in Boca.
We love this restaurant and cannot believe the bad experience we received tonight. What makes it worse is after speaking with the manager who said he would fix things , but unfortunately he did nothing. 1) it took one hour for the bread basket to arrive and after sitting there for another 1/2 an hour we were asked if we wanted appetizers. The appetizers were good but it took another 1/2 an hour to order entrees. After waiting an hour the Waiteress came to tell us our food was late because there was 2 tables ahead of us. I finally got my garlic chicken it was dry and non edible. Every restaurant has a bad night, I own 4 restaurants and can relate. But you would think that after telling the manager something would happen but it never did. Anyways I myself will probably not go back for a very long time and maybe never. It was a waste of 850$.
First time visiting this establishment on a very busy valentine's weekend. First off the manager Scott was amazing super welcoming and pushed to get our table sat as soon as possible. Started us off with the baked shrimp wow amazing recommended. I had the old fashioned and the wife had a gin tonic. We ordered the porterhouse prepared medium outstanding and a baked potato. Really highly recommend this establishment has the value is outstanding for the level of service and food quality. ????
We had a horrible experience last night from start to finish. Service was terrible. Waiter forgot my wine and rolled his eyes when I reminded him after 30 minutes. Forgot my daughters salad and when we reminded him after the steaks came, he told us we never ordered it even after I reminded him that we had a whole conversation about wanting a half or whole. We ordered the stone crabs which were supposed to be large but they weren’t even mediums. The waiter agreed but then Said there was nothing he could do. My steak was undercooked and when we told the waiter he just said “ughhh.That stinks. “. Service was so slow and food was terrible. With so many issues you would have thought they would have sent over a manager but they clearly don’t care!
Fell in love with this place, first time I’ve ever been. I am so grateful to Carlos our waiter for everything! The best service I’ve recurved in so long and was extremely accommodating to anything we needed. Even got us candles because we forgot them for our cake.Will be returning for sure! Thank you Carlos!
We had a large group, about 10 people or so. Food took a while to come out, but that's understandable as our group was large and pretty "choosey." I had the Caesar salad with the Scottish Salmon on top, including mushrooms. It was DIVINE! The Salmon filet was as thick as the steaks others at the table had ordered and worth every bite, mushrooms were seasoned to perfection, and the Caesar was crisp and not too saturated with dressing. Definitely recommend for the food and ambiance.
