Love them. Love everything about them. Best grilled cheese in the WORLD. My go-to comfort food for sure. High quality ingredients, best tomato bisque ever, best fries ever, best staff, convenient location… there’s nothing I don’t like about NY Grilled Cheese. My favorite is the Manhattan on sourdough bread with a NY Fry. Genius owner came up with the craziest flavor combos. I love Ny Grilled Cheese!
(4/30/22 visit) Got the SoHo Sweet Cheese. No complaints, all praises. The caramelized onions, Applewood bacon and brie cheese complement each other greatly! Bacon and oatmeal wheat bun were crispy. The sweet potato fries with marshmallow fluff sauce was icing on the cake. The customer service was great. They were very professional and polite.
We were lured in by the delicious looking menu. The food was really good to be honest by selling everything al a carte was frustrating. It made the meal quite expensive. We would not eat her again. The price and what you get do not add up. It doesn't work or make sense.
The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! On 3/15/22 I was so excited to find New York Grilled Cheese in Boca Raton, FL. I just left a massage appointment and felt great until I went here. Not only was I completely ignored for about 5 mins when I walked in and they weren’t busy, the supposedly ASSISTED MANAGER TAVARIS and I say supposedly because he argued with me about giving me his name multiple times, then asking me for my name. He only gave me his name when I asked for the manager and he refused to give me anyones info who is above him because he knows he was dead wrong! I didn’t even take a bite of my Mac n Cheese to find a hair on top. (That wasn’t even the problem! The biggest problem was his horrible attitude!!!) I showed him and he said it was cheese!!! I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and showed him a couple of different times, then with the fork and he argued with me about it! I couldn’t believe it! I was never rude I just showed him. I cannot believe this company would have someone like this working for them because it looked like the company does take pride. From the moment I walked in he treated me like he didn’t want me there like I was at his house begging for some free food and I was a huge burden to him. He put my meal to go then called me to the counter to pick it up when I ordered only the Mac n cheese to go and he walked every one else’s food to them. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work around this person. He definitely shouldn’t be in charge of anyone or in any kind of customer service job. I wouldn’t even want him flipping burgers in the back of McDonald’s. I didn’t have any interactions with any other employee, unfortunately just him. He has completely ruined this restaurant for me and I will never go back. I have never been treated like this! I hardly write reviews and bad ones at that! I hope the management will take this seriously and watch the video and/or use undercover people to go in there to see how badly they need a new employee. He is the most unprofessional person I have ever met!

Amazing waffle sandwiches... I got the New York something. But it was so good my mouth is still watering thinking about it. My friend who was with me got something, I don’t know what it was, but it looked yummy! It a little bit pricey but it's amazing. Also the tomato soup is great! I have no complaints with this one of a kind restaurant! Thank you for amazing food!
Me and my buddy stopped in here when we were passing through for work. We were kind of in a rush and didn’t expect much, but it was actually really good. The food was great and the service was really fast. In and out; 30 minutes. The server told us her name but I don’t recall it, sorry!
First time experience at New York Grilled Cheese. Coming from a New York native the food is amazing here! Amber was very welcoming and accommodating. Her attention to detail was very impressive and she showed a passion for her work! Will be back soon. By the way I had the SoHo sweet cheese and it was 10/10
Amber was amazing as usual. She’s always friendly and giving good suggestions. The other servers somehow don’t have the energy she has. I love when she serves us. If you go ask for amber
A guy at Loch Bar said this was one of his favorite places, and I have been wanting to go here for awhile. New York Grilled Cheese has a phenomenal menu of every type of grilled cheese melt you could imagine. I asked the Assistant Manager what the best seller was and which one was his favorite. Brooklyn Porkster was the answer to both questions so that is the one I ordered. It lived up to his hype. This comes with American cheese and the sandwich was huge. The pulled pork was tender & tantalizing. The BBQ sauce, the carmelized onions and the dill pickles really took it up a notch. The sandwich came with a cup of tomato basil bisque soup which was tangy & delicious. To top it off, they offer gluten free bacon & beef franks as well as vegan items. I'll come back to try their waffle fries and the Meat Packing District melt. Bring your appetite ...highly recommend!
