The best Thai and Sushi around the Area
Cute place , good service . Food is alright I wouldn’t come back .. I ordered seaweed salad, shrimp Shumai and Norwegian roll . The roll was tasteless no flavor I thought because it said onion rings it would come with pieces of fried onions on top instead it came with basic onions on the side ? The roll was disappointing, seaweed same as anywhere else could have been better . The only thing I actually liked was the shumai this place might be best for Thai but not for sushi .
I have been going to this restaurant for a long time and usually have a favorite dish that I order, Beef Garlic Sauce. Was there recently & I dont know what happened to the food, but the dish was dry & not as flavorful . Use to be pieces of garlic and really delicious. Even the ginger dressing was off, was if they put peanut oil in it. Go back to the old recipe!
Only had 1 server working inside and out from the looks of it. Appetizers took a long time and were all cold, drinks were very good and the main entrees were delicious. In the end it took over 1 hour to receive our cold appetizers, I feel sorry for the server getting all the hate for the “poor service” management needs to do a much better job. We won’t be coming back to this restaurant.
Best spot for dim sum in town!
I enjoyed the food here and service was very friendly. I ordered two dim sum dishes, the pork buns and fried shrimp. Both came out hot and fresh with delicious flavor! For my main dish I ordered yellow curry, it wasn’t the same flavor I’m used to but still very good. I had shrimp in the curry and liked them, but they were big and a bit difficult to eat with my chopsticks, I kept getting curry on my face. Wait time seemed to take a bit longer than I expected seeing as there were not a lot of people at the restaurant, but maybe they had a lot of to-go orders. Food was very hot temperature and fresh. I ordered mango sticky rice to-go and was happy with the flavor and size. I would probably go back again and try other menu items when back in this area.
Love that place since the first time I went there ! Great selection of fresh food and super tasty! Keep up the amazing job and I will always be back ! <3Ps : BOCA location is the best as service goes : Jane makes it very pleasant and awesome! <3
Ive been to moon Thai on two occasions. I will say that both experiences were quite pleasant. First and foremost, the service is impeccable. Both of my servers were so kind, welcoming, and made the experience pleasant. Second, the food was really solid. Got some sushi rolls and appetizers. Great quality and fairly priced. I must say on both occasions they were quite busy and still provided excellent service and food. I will definitely go back
I went for lunch, and ordered shrimp dumplings and dragon roll. Shrimp dumplings were ok but the dragon roll was the worst I have ever had. The tempura was like made of glass. I thought may be mid parts are better and as soon as I had a bite it literally cut my gum. I think shrimp inside was the tinies shrimp ever.I avoid using public bathrooms but I had to go to brush my teeth and it was disgusting. There was only one girl working; cleaning the floor and bringing your food. So touching the dirty duster and carrying the plates with the same hands. I don't think the management understand why hygiene was while she sat there doing nothing.
Dirty restaurant, unfriendly and unaccomodating waitress. Ordered a glass of wine before dinner and there was no accomodating special requests, even though they had all the ingredients. They were very rude and left us waiting for a long time. After I paid for the wine they left us waiting again a long time. The chef (if you want to call him that) shouted out across the restaurant, " You have to wait!". The waitress finally appeared with my change from the back kitchen. There was no one in the restaurant, I can understand why.
