We went to Mario’s with friends this past Saturday night. The atmosphere is beautiful. It has a great vibe. The service was excellent. My wife and I had chicken parmigiana and it was delicious. The chicken was so soft and it had plenty of cheese and sauce which a lot of restaurants lack. Our friends had shrimp parmigiana and lasagne and they enjoyed their dishes. I highly recommend you try Mario’s in Boca. You will not be disappointed.
We really enjoyed Mario’s Osteria. Our server Jeff was really good, down to earth and really personable. The food was terrific. My wife had the vegan split pea soup and the eggplant parm. The best eggplant parm she has had in FL. I have the clams oreganata and the Cioppino. Both were mind blowing. Great place. Can’t wait to go back.
On mat 16th, my husband and I had dinner at Mario's. So dissatisfied with my meal. I ordered the chioppino which said it had mussels, clams, lobster and crab in a tomato broth. Sounded delicious to me. What the description failed to say is that the crab was in the shell, the lobster was a tail and it was split. The lobster was overcooked and the meat stuck to the shell. The crab was just a chunk of crab thrown into the broth. I couldn't eat any of the crab, unless I wanted to wear it. As it is, I had splatters of tomato sauce on my shirt just from trying to eat the lobster tail. I really expected the lobster and crab to be out of the shell when served in the broth. $36.00 I paid for some mussels, clams and about 1/3 cup of couscous type pasta on the bottom of the dish. I would never order this dish there again. Do yourself a favor and stick to only pasta or pizza at Mario's.
Went for the first time after a FAU graduation with a party of 12. We were seated immediately, and the server was great. Everything from the appetizers through dessert was amazing. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions were giant. We were very happy and can't wait to go back to try more of their menu.

Came to lunch today sat April 23 2022. Had a terrific server. Christopher who was professional helpful and made our deliscious meal. Even. More. Terrific. Best value in boca
Apathetic service. Got there 6pm on a Sunday. We were patient and polite, waited 20-30 minutes to place order, not busy, had to flag bartenders. One of the two bar servers recommended we bully in for empty seats, he would not decently guide us to recently exited spots for just 2 of us. Was not busy at that point. Felt like they get burnt out after the happy hour crowd leaves and could care less about customers after that. Food was okay but not great. Calamari is cuttlefish. White anchovies are microscopic in size and a side of pasta is about 4 bites. Raised an Italian American, I can’t wait to go home and make it myself for much less than the cost here at Mario’s. Place has potential. Thanks but no thanks.

Confused about all the great reviews. The service was incredibly slow, the food was bland tasting in general and the server never told us the pasta portions are humongous even though he could see how much we were ordering, so we ended up with a lot of not great tasting leftovers that just sat in my fridge because no one wanted to eat them. Also zero kid friendly as they don’t have a kids menu and they don’t offer half orders. If you ask to split a plate they refuse saying the kitchen won’t don’t it. So, no, I wouldn’t recommend this place and I am worried that reviewers are saying this is the best italian food in town ‘cause the bar is set so low I wouldn’t want to try any other if this is the “best”. If it is, then Boca is just not a place to eat Italian food.
