What a mistake. First time trying this place. To go, ordered a Horiatiki salad.The grape leaves (Dolmades) were hard and not fresh, something I've never experienced from a Greek restaurant. The feta cheese was low grade and of poor quality.Will NOT revisit.
They don’t add tomatoes, onions or lettuce when you get a platter. They nickel and dime you for extra pita and tzatziki sauce. Last night I ordered food and it included a nice hair. This is why I go to Chris’ Taverna in Lake Worth. Never again.
Since moving to West Boca from Fort Lauderdale, I’ve been looking for a good Greek sit down restaurant, and wouldn’t you know- two miles from my house and there it is! Authentic Greek cuisine! ??
After coming here for the first time, it will be my last time. My mother ordered stuffed salmon with orzo. When the food came, the food seemed normal. My mother looked closely at her dish and noticed a roach on the salmon as if it was cooked with the fish. We were both disgusted and left. A roach on the food? How do you not even notice and and cook it? I don’t know what the health rating for this restaurant is but they definitely need a heath inspection. Unfortunately, my mom was so shocked that we forgot to take a picture of the food.
The worst greek food I ever had and the rudest people I ever met. So dirty! It is embarrassing. What a shame! Please, stay away!
5 stars all the way! It's not easy to run a restaurant, and even harder these days, so they get much respect from this family. Food is always really tasty, fresh, and fast. The staff seems to stick around too so that's a good sign that their doing right all around. Foodwise, again, everything we've had there has been great, but our most recent addition to the palate has been the roasted eggplant appetizer - "to die for" as they say, and quite filling. It's helped me personally drop the 40lbs I lost last year...wait, this is a tangent. but, it IS good to know you can go home full...and not fat LOL. Thanks to Yanni, Kostas, and staff. I ordered the Pastitsio (Greek lasagna) and it was very nice comes with an Greek salad with an Dolmadakia, all very nice the restaurant was clean I would go again
We love this place! Food is amazingly fresh and it’s cooked in an authentic Greek style that really is a transportive experience to a taverna in the Greek islands.
I ordered a side of french fries last night to have with a burger I made at home. The fries were TOTALLY DIFFERENT and disgusting. I didn't eat any of them. I tried calling last night but they had already closed (I ordered close to closing and therefore didn't realize the switch-a-roo they pulled till too late). I called today to inform them of the issue and the staff was TOTALLY RUDE to me. Now, I had *just* gotten fries from them last week and they were the same Bomb-A$$ fries they always had. So when I got them last night, imagine my surprise! I mean, worse than McDonald's fries, these were! I told them I'd bring them in to show them that they were different and the rude woman with whom I spoke ARGUED with me about how I'm calling the next day (which I explained above). I understand there have been changes in the food industry due to the pandemic; however, this was not told to me, a long-time customer, at the time of my ordering: Expecting one thing and getting a far inferior product. The woman eventually hung up on me. I've worked for many years in customer service. There was no apology nor offer to "make it right," which is a standard in customer service. 10/10 would not recommend.
Great place. We go here 3 or 4 times per month. Fresh, delicious. I'm guessing independently owned. Staff is always really sweet as well. I wish we'd gotten the names of the two people that took care of our family last night - just super, and always love it.
