Forgot to write this well deserved review from my visit last summer. Haven't had a French baguette since visiting Paris years ago and found this place nearby and immediately bought one. I made sure to ask the owner if the flour they used was from France because U.S. grown grains are sprayed with dangerous pesticides and herbicides and she assured me it was. I am proud to say I loved the baguette and had no reaction whatsoever to it! Keep in mind, I am gluten intolerant (not celiac) and I have had terrible skin rashes from flour based products in the U.S. It was very tasty and brought me right back to Paris. I could have cried. Lovely store packed full of French products and the lady in the store was very kind and informative. I will be back if I'm in the area.
My absolute favorite spot in Boca Raton! Hidden gem!The owners are super friendly and very helpful. Great selection of French wines, cheeses, foie gras, caviar, sweets, chocolates, etc. Great atmosphere to have morning coffee with a freshly baked croissant, lunch with friends or a glass of Champagne. Highly recommended!
Moved to Boca this winter and while looking to find places to buy our favorite food items, especially baguette, I stumbled across Gourmet Market on N Federal and 28th street. It felt like walking into a traiteur in the south of France. Everything was French, soap, cereal biscuits, mustard, vinegar etc. What was exceptional was the assortment of cheeses, plates and country meats and the best baguette for miles. Fresh baked croissants and pain au chocolate to top it off. The proprietors, Cati and Nicholas speak English with that lovely French accent. While I haven't been able to go to France for 2 years I am now snkr to go to Gourmet Market
An absolute rip-off! They will rip you off on the bill; on top of taxes, they charge you a restaurant feel. On top of taxes, they don’t even have restaurant service. Asked for coffee, they charge me for some other gourmet coffee and charge for the cream aside and a refill. She said she gave me an expresso. I asked for regular coffee. Asked for regular water, they charged for bottled water. They can’t even make sense of their bill and then pretend they don’t speak English when it’s time to do the right thing and correct the bill. Suddenly they only speak French. Get ready to get ripped off! ??????
Nicolas and Cathy do an amazing job. The food is simply amazing. We ordered a special cheese and dessert platter for a dinner party and we were truly blown away with the presentation, and how fresh and delicious everything tasted. Nothing else in Boca even compares. Would give more than five stars if possible.
I enjoyed a delicious salmon and mozzarella panini at the Gourmet Market in Boca. Both the owners and the decor were very charming. The inside is packed with authentic French specialty items and several tables. The have outside seating too.Highly recommend !
They make the best sandwiches. The stop is lovely very helpful even delivered my sandwich to the hair salon next to it. Wonderful selection of jam jellies all from Europe!
I found this French Gourmet Market on Google. I was looking for a gift basket as a house warming gift. Catherine and Nicolas were so friendly and helpful. I was so overwhelmed. Catherine made a few suggestions and put together a beautiful gift basket on the spot. I was thrilled to see they carried Foie Gras, Escargot and other French delicacies. It was worth the 30 min. Drive to this market. I will definitely be back.
Look no further than Gourmet Market to find the best ingredients, service, and delicacies! Cathy and Nicola treat you like family, making the experience extra special. Their authentic French baguettes, selection of wines and champagnes, variety of cheeses, and their other gourmet items will certainly delight you.
