We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Farmhouse Kitchen. We were there for brunch and the food was delicious. We stayed inside to eat, but it was noisy due to a large birthday gathering. However, it made it lively. It was too hot for us to eat outdoors but there were many people outside. The service was slow. It might have helped to have more servers. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We went on a Wed. evening, so it was pretty quiet and the servers were attentive. Food was excellent, they rotate the menu seasonally and everything comes from 'local' farmers, so it was super fresh and delicious. Only issue is the price. A salad, a cauli-crust pizza, and a side of slaw with tip came to $80, and we didn't even have any drinks! I guess given the location and quality perhaps this is to be expected.
We like the new menu. All the food choices were excellent and they have some good vegetarian fare as well. Pleasant weather made for enjoyable outdoor dining. The only issue we had was kitchen service was a bit slow even though it was not a particularly busy evening.
Recent menu change not really favorable. Few choices, no real value for the money. Ordered the Salmon plate, which was delivered under cooked, and the fish taco's which were a lot of coleslaw but very little fish. Old menu was still expensive but the overall selection was better.
STAY AWAY! Deceiving menu and server and rude manager to to it off! The menu says bottomless mimosas with purchase of an entree and it has no price for the mimosas. So we order the entrees, but to our surprise, when we get the check the Mimosas are not included with the brunch price, which is extremely expensive for such a small portion, and low quality service. I never thought it was free, but the menu isn't clear and the server didn't bother to mention it. It's simply not worth paying $60 per person as the mimosas ended up being $16 each. Should have read the reviews as I'm not the first to be deceived.
“Surprising,” is what two other reviews said, I think because, like the gentlemen who came here with me, many people are expecting something like a Cracker Barrel menu but instead they sample from a DELICIOUS farm to table menu and love the food they get to their surprise lol.My husband ordered the carrot cake as an appetizer and it flipped him from complaining about not getting scrambled eggs (why was he expecting that at 3:20 pm? Men.) to raving about how great this restaurant was. He and my brother-in-law got the steak tacos and raved about them. They even raved about the side dishes. The yellow beet with pistachio side dish was soooo good! The roasted vegetables were amazing! The sweet potato fries were outstanding!I had the black bean burger which was okay; I was told they don’t salt the vegan burger (although my roasted vegetables were perfectly salted and impeccably seasoned) and the large sea salt granules I was given just bounced off the burger but if you are wanting low salt vegan you will probably love it. I asked for it with no mayo. Mayo might have helped. All in all everything else was worth the five stars. Exceptional location, service, flavors, and freshness.
We ate outside for brunch and overall I thought the food and service was good, but a little expensive for the what we ordered.
Food was exceptional, the ambiance was even better but the service was such a disappointment especially bc it was so empty. We had to ask multiple times for refills for our water and for our mimosas which was a little frustrated. We love this place and have been several times, the Buffalo cauliflower is a must and the food is always exceptional. So it was a little disappointing that the service has fallen.
I canât even begin to explain the horrible experience we had. They completely ruined a special occasion for us. The owner is the most unprofessional, dismissive, and rude human being. He has no clue what customer service is and he doesnât care either. He treats all his employees absolutely horribly. Donât give this place a dime. He doesnât need your money and he makes that clear as he literally told me to write a yelp review about him sarcastically. Disgusting and unfortunate.
