Wow! New favorite place. I’m here right now and just finished lunch. I had the Sanduche de Pollo a La Plancha sandwich. Great layered flavors, well prepared and large portions. I’m coming back to try the Tamales….
So let's get this out of the way. This food is Colombian. If you expect Mexican tamales or Mexican styled fare with similar names, go somewhere else. Colombian tamales are decidedly *not* like other regional tamales. The food is pretty darned good, and it's served in a friendly atmosphere. It also happens to be really great for gatherings. However, you pay for the privilege of eating somewhere that makes the real deal, so just handle the sticker shock any way that's polite. Your meal will be pricier than if you eat at a lesser location, but you just might get to feel like you're eating somewhere other than South Florida for an hour.
First time ordering, I loved. However today It was raining and I was gonna to go somewhere where I could get something fast and head home, but then I changed my mind and I decided to take my time and eat something better than a fast food, my mistake. I went to balcon, which is close to my house, and take the time, I ordered two plates with picanha/churrasco. And I waited patiently inside the restaurant, reading the news on my phone, so my food got ready, I paid $11 for tips even though it was a take out. Just my appreciation and help those guys a little. But when I got home, the meat had no seasoning, I asked for medium wet, that didn’t work either. U$55 wasted paid for rice and French fries. ?
The food was amazing. So fresh and authentic, I felt like I was back in Cartagena. Such a nice group of girls working there also, very sweet.
Good service, good food. I ate sancocho de res, more than comfort food so good ànd the portion enough to feed a family lol. The servers were very polite and friendly. From a distance, it doesn't seem like much but you'd make a mistake to drive by without checking it out.
Food is delicious and fresh. Service was wonderful as well. Very pleased with everything.
Juan Pablo was an excellent server and all of the staff were friendly! The food was authentic and the atmosphere couldn’t be beat! Will be returning again!
Genuine Latin food. Great atmosphere and service
Food was authentic and delicious. Full of flavor, a true journey for the pallet. Juan our server was fantastic. If you don’t like this place go cry to your mama.
Authentic Colombian food in West Boca. The soups and empanadas are ultimately my favorite but their steak and chicken dishes are very good as well.
