Me and my husband got there around dinner time a couple nights ago, we had Ashley as our server. Beautiful experience she was very prompt and helpful with the menu, very knowledgeable and helped me make a decision about my meal. The ribs were amazing! Cooked to perfection. Will be coming back for Ashley, the ribs, and a good time!
I absolutely love coming to this Duffy’s but mainly it’s to see my girl Ashley Barreto! She kills it every time with the customer service and is on point with our drinks and food every time! Whether she’s at the bar serving us amazing drinks or waiting on us at the table, I always know I’m going to leave there happy. I will OBVIOUSLY be coming back to see her again!!!!
Honestly wouldn’t go to Duffy’s if it weren’t for Ashley B. She always give exceptional service!. Always feels like I’m at home when she serves me. I make sure I ask for her every time, she has the most upbeat personality and is attentive to her guests!
Cheyenne was our waitress and she was very helpful, courteous and caring. We asked to put on the Belmont Stakes on TV she asked her manager to do it. She checked on us after our food came and later again. she is an outstanding job
I came in the other night to hang out with a couple girlfriends and Ashley was the sweetest and most attentive bartender I’ve had in a while. She was on top of our orders and drinks. The food was great and our gummy bear mojitos were so good. We all agreed we’ll definitely be back to see her!
We love going to Duffy's. Not only do they have an extensive menu, everything is always fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and it's always a pleasure going there for good food and good people.
If this looks like good wings to you. Then get Duffys. Girl at the front was rude for no reason, refuses to combine our two orders because she didn’t admit she didn’t know how to. Just had attitude the whole time and said “don’t put words in my mouth” when I asked why she couldn’t just combine my orders. Up charged me by 5 dollars . Terrible service and food taste like the service, pretty bland and bad
Their gummy bears moito was yum.. but very less options for vegetarians.. their impossible burger was not so great either.. but the staff is very humble and amazing
I like to avoid chain restaurants, but a friend invited my wife and me to lunch at Duffy's Mission Bay. I expected boring, chain-restaurant-food, but I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by both the food and the service. The Fried Mushrooms were good and the dipping sauces were great, as were the Island Fish Tacos with the magnificent lemon-soy ponzu glaze.\\n\\nBeyond surprisingly good, thoughtful pub food, what made Duffy's Mission Bay stand out was the service. Our Waiter, Eddie didn't write anything down and got everything correct. He was friendly, kind, and attentive. Furthermore, Manny, an Assistant Manager, checked on us and other tables twice and he brought our food with Eddie. In the post-COVID era of poor customer service, Manny modeled quality management and leadership. He too was friendly, professional, and amazingly attentive... truly rare qualities in the service industry.
I would say the food is horrible at this Duffy and the service is poor. The wings were undercooked, I asked for them extra crispy, when they came out I asked the waiter to bring them back to the kitchen because they were undercooked; so they could make them well done/extra crispy. The chef put them on the grill and then drenched them in sauce and they were soggy as can be. I would not return or recommend this place to anyone. Also since there was a fight on tv, we had to pay an extra up charge of 5.00 per head to get a wrist ban, and I guess half of the people there were friends with the hostess and didn’t have to pay. So it was unfair that my party had to pay 30.00 of up charges when the rule does not apply to everyone.
