Food got me sick. It tasted good but was probably made with sub par products and I had the hardest time digesting it .The owner got me even sicker. He was fixing a leak in the ceiling from the AC right next to my table. Had a vacuum cleaner on a ladder barely balanced while people were eating. He also was expressing his political opinion loudly and rudely calling the president names and making fun of covid. How sad I use to like this place. Don't go unless you want to hear politics at lunch and get sick after.
Came 15 mins before closing and was greeted by two pleasant ladies. One of the ladies at the counter took my order for pastrami on rye and called for a male worker to prepare. The male worker with a look of disgust took the pastrami and threw it on the slicer. Upset, that it was close to closing he vented on my pastrami sandwich rather than talk to his employer about his work hours. To boot, the pastrami was dry and missing my pickle.
Sandwich was full of meat and presented showing eye appeal. Waitress was sweet and friendly. Not a lot of customers, just past lunch hour. I will go back.
The ruben on rye was not bad but the pastrami was mostly fat.plus the person who made the pastrami sandwich forgot to put the mustard,pickle and cold slaw on the sandwich.it was a dry fatty sandwich.they most likely charged me for the stuff that they did not put on the sandwich.i don't think I will be going back here.
After walking out of another breakfast spot for not so friendly customer service, I looked over to my left and u-turned to this establishment. I was greeted by two friendly ladies with a "Hello and Welcome!" I believe the names are Minnie and Fran, but it's been a couple of weeks, so please forgive me. My breakfast was so tasty, I ordered lunch as well to munch on later. The only reason I cannot give five stars is due to no turkey bacon or turkey sausage on the breakfast menu.
Great fresh food, friendly helpful staff, wish we could find anything close to this where we live. Will certainly plan on going again next time we are in town. Loved this place!
My family and I were visiting for a wedding in Boca Raton. We searched for a local deli and decided to try Deli on Rye. We were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and I cannot say enough about the food. My husband and I shared the Black Russian sandwich and it was awesome. The meat was fresh and flavorful and I loved their rye bread. I cannot wait to go back and try other items.
My husband and I loved this place. If you like true deli meat and excellent service, this is the place to go!
I had Uber eats deliver to Delray today since my regular place is too busy..I’m very happy to have enjoyed my turkey club for 2 days since it was so big!
Great sandwiches! Outstanding little deli on Fed highway. You would definitely pass it if you weren't looking for it. So start looking for it! The meat is so fresh and everything is made from scratch. The price reflects the quality. Go and enjoy!
