I worked here 32 years ago and the place still has excellent food at a reasonable price. The bagels are still made on the premises. Paige made our morning with her fast service and chipper personality. Definitely coming back!
Bagels are good, but not great compared to New York City. You'll probably enjoy them.They are also a breakfast nook and possibly lunch. Thus they have all the additional accoutrements such as locks breakfast cheese etc. No real atmosphere to mention.
My Father and I have been coming here for years! Over time the quality and the service have changed drastically. I loved this place for morning breakfast with him, but they tend to disappoint us that pass view times we came in. The owner did not keep his promise for his loyalty cards and provided the customers with points to get credited free money when they keep spending over time. When I asked one of the waitresses for her to take my card and check my rewards it was the same thing every time the machine is down. Do not eat here if you want to get screwed over and be taken advantage of. I recommend going to the Pancake house which is 2 minutes from Bagelwork's excellent food and meets the standards in all aspects/categories.
I grew up in Long Island, eating New York bagels, this place is the closest thing to a New York Bagel Deli in Boca.Only reason for not giving 5 stars is always being a Line for ordering, but only to be expected since everyone Local comes here to eat, so get in line like the rest of us... It is what it is!
Ordered two deli sandwiches online. First was a turkey on rye. Second was a pastrami on wheat. Both were supposed to come with a pumpernickel bagel and a side of fries.Our order arrived almost an hour later. We got the turkey and pastrami sandwiches but there was no rye or wheat. Instead, the bagels were used as the sandwich bread. There were no fries with either sandwich. Everything was cold.The ticket was on the side of the bag. It didn't show the fries but it did show the sandwiches with the aforementioned bread, as well as the bagels as a separate item.In short, our order was messed up, the order was missing stuff, the food took nearly an hour to arrive, and it was cold upon arrival.
My son ordered ONE bagel with bacon, cheese, and egg to go. They charged him $14.xx. He said it was tasty but I’m wondering if this price is normal.
I stopped by the store to get a nova bagel sandwich to go. A young man prepared the sandwich and when I am paying the woman asked me if I was paying for a bagel and cream cheese and I answered no, move bagel sandwich. She turn and ask the man if he had put nova in my sandwich and he answered YES. I payed and leave. Once on the road I checked my sandwich and guess what! NO. NOVA just the bagel cream cheese and tomato ?. I had to turn around and go back to the store, find parking again and finally at the store where the woman that charged me got offended because I was upset about not having nova in my sandwich. She then said she will fix it and give me a refund ( that she NEVER GAVE ME).She was not apologetic at all. I left with a new sandwich, upset and very disappointed. I am not going back. I know people can make mistakes but then they should own them and fix what went wrong.
This is a very nice breakfast/brunch restaurant. My wife and I were visiting the area and met some locals for breakfast. The menu has something for everyone and the prices are extremely reasonable. Two of us had some special requests on how we liked things cooked and even though the place was quite busy the food came out exactly as we had requested. I found the portions to be plentiful, even oversized, and all of us really enjoyed our food. We visit Florida quite often and BagelWorks is our new go-to-place for breakfast.
BagrlWorks is the ultimate best for bagels, deli and staff!! All 3 get a 10- plus rating! The breakfast special is the best deal this side of the Mississippi . The staff is so amazingly sweet, competent and happy . The food is outta this world ! In these times, everyone needs to go to Bagelworks!! Guaranteed to make you feel better . PS waitresses and staff including Matt , the manager make your experience that much better! Big shout out to all staff!
The service was poor and the server was not a bit friendly.If you like Bacon this is not the place for you.I ordered three everything Bagels with Bacon egg and cheese to go. When we went to eat them there was only one slice of bacon on each sandwich. The bagels were huge with a generous amount of egg and cheese and only one slice of bacon. Because there was so much of everything else you couldn't taste the bacon. Who does not like plenty of bacon on anything?? I can't believe how cheap they are for the prices they charge Very disappointed will not return.EDITIn your haste to be so defensive, you overlooked or ignored the fact that your staff was not friendly and the service was bad. Your staff failed to put your specified amount of Bacon on each sandwich. I have read your responses to some of the other reviews and it appears to me you like to have the last word and you come off as arrogant. Therefore I am removing another Star.
