Awesome food, I am a resident of Mexico City but when I go to FL I always go there. This food is authentic Mexican food, the place is nicely decorated, even better than some places I have gone to here in Mexico. The drinks are awesome and the waitress (Maria) just such a nice lady! I would recommend this place 100%. Sometimes they have live music which makes it even better.
The food was sooo delicious, full of favor! The young man who took my order was a complete sweetheart. The place is lay back, chill, cool vibes. I highly recommend!
I was looking for mexican food options in Boca and came across this hidden gem. My son got chicken fajitas and I got the habanero enchiladas. Delicious!
If you want to eat good barbacoa soft taco, this is the best place to be. The dips are delicious. The texture of the handmade tacos was exceptional.The place is not overcrowded. The server and I think the owner is super friendly and are not short of different sides, dips for chips.One of the things I noticed is that it isn't so greasy. We had an excellent time. For the following food trip, I will try their other selections.
We love this Mexican restaurant. Today was our first time to go here and the food was by far, the best Mexican food in Boca Raton. Very unassuming restaurant in the corner of a strip center. I had the lunch special which included two enchiladas rice and beans, and my wife had three tacos. We each had two margaritas and our total bill came to only $38, which is unheard of in Boca Raton. Free chips and salsa. All of the food was so fresh and delicious, we would definitely go here again.
Don't let the mall location dissuade you from trying this authentic Mexican restaurant. Every dish was outstanding. We had the grilled Mahi tacos, Elote (corn on the cob) appetizer, and Flan for dessert. The chips and margaritas are great too. Highly recommended.
Traditional Mexican cuisine and decor at this little gem in The Fifth Avenue shops. They started me off with chips and salsa. The salsa was phenomenal - the best I've had in Boca. As it was Taco Tuesday, I ordered 2 shrimp tacos and one steak Taco. I ordered all three on lettuce wraps. The steak and shrimp were fresh and cooked to perfection. The authentic flavors of Mexico were tasted in each yummy bite. The staff was wonderful & I fell in love with the decor ! Highly recommend giving Ahtziri a try !
So to all of my Trip friends out there…this restaurant does NOT serve liquor, their margaritas, as an example, are ‘wine’ based but priced like they are tequila Rita’s! Now that I got that out of the way, the food was average and the service was good.
This is probably the best Mexican Restaurant in Boca. The chef is from Mexico City and prepares a mix of Mexico City & Tex-Mex. Mexico City food is more upscale and focuses more on meat & fish, and less tacos & tortillas. You can get either style here and he prepares it very well.
Delicious food for my 1st time there and I even came when it was completely dead which tells you something... Carla was my bartender/server and was very personable and sweet... The homemade salsa is amazing and I could just stuff myself up on that but I had to save room for my couple happy hour margaritas and my Ahztiri tacos 3
