Well the food was decent for what you pay for. The little girl taking orders on Friday (the 13th ??) at about 11:30 am was AWFUL. Disengaged, head resting on her hand and just plain rude. I said thanks and she didn’t even acknowledge me. Awful attitude, definitely won’t return just because of her little “insert word” self. Take a lesson from Chick Fila , even half a lesson might help.
The male manager in a red shirt at 6pm on 5/1/2022 was very nasty. I watched him cough in his hand at the grill, then come up front and dug his nose while talking to a worker. He then went back to the grill preparing chicken without changing his gloves.Totally disgusting, so I walked right out.
Paid for extra dressing and the mf said we dont have extra dressing. They are full of bs at this location. Look at the salad no dressing whatsoever, april 30th at 4:54 pm full of s.
Had no idea it was possible for the quality of an establishment to get drastically worse every single visit. Ordered through the drive through, soup and beans were way too overly salty. Asked for sauces got nothing, portions of rice were less than a scoop and the sandwiches were gross. Everytime I come here which isn't even often, theres always something forgotten, a wrong order or a nasty attitude. So done with this place
I would give them 5 stars if they would offer any sauces when I go through the drive through. Every time I get home after picking up food I’m super upset I didn’t get any sauce or dressings. The food and service is great here though.
Found this in Mac and cheese. ? ordered a chicken ceasar salad and they gave us a bowl of lettuce with no dressing. This has to be the nastiest location. Sometimes I wonder how health departments allow these places to stay open.
Worse Pollo tropical location. I have never had a good experience here. Don't know why I come back but this time I AM DONE!!! Rice was old and burnt along with burnt chicken and burnt black beans. I would not even give it 1 star.
In my experience, the Manager running the place today, Sunday, Jan 9 at 3 pm, whoever he is, is terrible. Made us wait to take our order and took so long to bring it out. He was working the front register and service desk. Apart from that , that dude takes off his mask down baring his nose and mouth and speaking while carrying peoples food. Very irresponsible , this dude. Would not recommend this Pollo Tropical. I literally saw him speaking over food he was preparing with his masked pulled down on his shin and was able to film him. Will be posting video on You tube.
Got back home with my crunchy chicken order and opened it and not even half a piece of chicken. Not the first time something like this happens. Terrible!!!
Great empanadas, good chimichurri, but tasteless pasta (pesto sauce looked like milky soup) and old bread they try to revive by heating it up. The service is decent. They also need to clean the outdoor seating area which was so filthy there was flies everywhere. Not very appetizing when one is trying to enjoy a meal.
