Literally the Best Sushi of East Coast, yes yes we have in Miami in the Aventura Mall, this place is amazing and the Chef Yasu is the best everything is fresh clean sofisticated I recomend 100%, thanks

Came here because the photos of the sushi looked amazing and it did not disappoint! So happy. The chefs are outstanding. Fresh sushi. Hidden location at a mall, but 100% outstanding sushi and worth the visit! Will certainly go back before my trip is over ?.
Sushi was fresh and made to order (without avocado). I enjoyed watching them make it in front of you. My wife was also adventurous and asked the chef to make us something he think we'd like which definitely did NOT disappoint. We will DEFINITELY be returning soon. Absolutely everything we ordered was delicious...even our guest, who found something NOT raw, (she doesn't do sushi except California roll) enjoyed her meal.
What a crazy place! The sushi is the best and I say that with a lot of sushi eating in my past. This is indeed an odd location at the mall, however once your food arrives, you won’t care where your sitting! Ask the Chef to make something and you won’t regret what he will put on the plate. Cavier service was great as well.
I didn’t take every picture of what we ordered but everything was outstanding (pricy though ?), but worth it every bite!!!
I love Makino but I must say that recently some items on the menu are not the same anymore.. for example: wagyu short rib and wag-uni truffle are not good anymore because it’s not A5 Japanese wagyu anymore whatever they are using now bad quality meat chewy and hard..very disappointing..
Sushi was among the best I’ve had anywhere in Miami. Fish is so fresh, chef is very nice, food comes quickly and is expertly prepared. If you’re looking for great sushi at a sushi bar (no tables), then I highly recommend. This is definitely not just another sushi place. I plan on making the drive back soon.
Some of the freshest and best Sushi in South Florida. We requested Omakasee and the Chef was able to accommodate and prepared some of the most delicious courses. I read some reviews before going and a few used the description of clean tasting sushi and I have to positively agree. The sushi is fresh, clean tasting with unique flavors added to it. If your lucky enough to try this restaurant and receive Omakase, DO NOT dare add soy sauce or anything to the Chefs selections. Enjoy the natural flavors he prepares for you. You will not regret. A MUST have is the Tuna with Foi gras on top of it. AMAZING!!!!!
