I've loved Sonny's since I was a kid. This is my first time reviewing due to a discovery today. I asked if their burgers could be customized, they affirmed this was possible. How about onion straws and bacon? Close, how about onion straws and home made bacon bits.. I said sold. After the first bite, I thought immediately everyone should know about this hack! Give it a try and like my review if you agree! It was so good, and they didn't even charge extra for the toppings. I love Sonny's!
Great food and great service
I recommend this place because it has everything I like: good service, good food, pretty good portions, their own beer which turns out to be excellent and they also have good prices.. I'm definitely coming back for more very soon. Could not try the dessert because we were very satisfied but is something to try the next time. Thanks Sonny's BBQ!

I came in to eat last week with my family for the first time since having a bad experience there on Father’s Day the previous year. This time, our experience was EXCELLENT! We will definitely be back to eat there again soon. Our server, Dana, was absolutely fantastic!! She gave the best customer service and was so kind, especially to my toddler. Dana is the best server I’ve had at any restaurant in a long time and she’s a real asset to your company! The manager, Louis, came over to see how everything was and I was blown away by him too. Louis was so kind and genuine. We were so happy with our meals and our experience eating out here. Thank you so much!!
They know their BBQ but, don’t know beans about beans. I rather eat the corn and get it stuck between my teeth then, to buy the beans again. This goes for all their restaurants: their beans aren’t fair tasting. Truly missing the flavor of cinnamon and brown sugar. But, one of the best places for restaurant BBQ
The staff here was amazing. They treated us like family even tho we were a huge group. Best meal we had in Florida and the prices were amazing.
Hadn't been in awhile, because twice last year, it was disappointing. However, this visit was exceptional. The 3 meat platter was generous, and the meats were lean and tender. The sides also provided more value than before. The baked beans contained chunks of meat, and other sides were tasty too. Our server was kind and professional, and we certainly did not feel rushed. Both of us finished our sides, bread, and ribs, but had enough sliced and pulled pork for another meal. Won't wait long to return.
Is was good this time,everything was hot. Enjoyed our meal until this guy can in and sat across from with this very very bad oder...it was time to leave.
I would have given 4 stars, but the sliced pork, which is one of my favorites can be variable - sometimes great, other times less soThe ribs to can be wonderful, and then less so. The chicken is always pretty good.We have be going to Sonny's since we arrived in Florida 40years ago, and will continue to get our regular Q ration there.
