This is hands down the best Place in Apopka for amazing food. Chef Gary is a true Picasso of pizza and Stone oven sandwiches!!! The taste of his Stone sandwiches are flat out amazing. Give this place a try in my opinion you won't be sorry.
We scouted Orlando for the best New York style pizza. Much to our surprise it was right here in Apopka, Florida. Gary is from New York via Italy. His father still holds that most beautiful tonal quality from his Italian homeland. The pizza is perfect, the sauce is perfect, and the vegetables are fresh. Gary throws pizza dough and allows it to dance as watching customers are amazed. We will always come back and bring others to engage the best pizza this side of New York.Dr. Rodriguez-Conti
Ordered two pizzas on a rainy Sunday. One pizza was perfect. The other came and all the toppings had slid off the pie and were in the corner of the box. I brought the pizza back since I live across the street. I’ve NEVER had this happen here and the pizza is always top quality. The cook looked at the pizza and explained that it could have been tilted or dropped (which is wasn’t). At other pizza places it’s my word against theirs and you’d be told to go pound sand. They took a negative experience and turned it into a positive one. They graciously remade the pizza and made sure the toppings didn’t slide. I was very impressed by the customer service mindset. They didn’t have to do this but took the extra step to make it right. I always enjoyed the pizza but definitely a customer for life!
Was already in the plaza decided to go there for a quick bite to eat, customer service was very pleasant and the price was reasonable I believe they had a special and we looked up on that which is presented in front of the store on the sign. Pizza was good and garlic knots was good as well I am definitely a pizza person I have tried several pizza shops around the way will definitely come back when I'm in the area thanks guys.
Gary is a local legend. When he's working, everything about this place is incredible: the food, the atmosphere, the service etc. He's got a great personality and you can tell the employees love working with him. Thank you Gary for always treating me right and serving up some of the best pizza I've ever had!
I have worked for pizza for the last 13 years and I know good sauce from bad sauce the sauce that I have received today was soured it even smells sour I'm sure they make fresh sauce every day but I am very sure that the sauce cups are not being rotated . I was not happy with the customer service they did not Tried helping or anything I have been at this location once before and I believe the manager was on duty at that moment or the owner and that food was great I'm not sure what's going on with this afternoon staff but they all seem to just be sitting around talking make sure the sauce cups are rotated please.... The sauce was completely soured I hope the customers after me do not eat that now I feel sick to my stomach and nauseous
I’ve been to 1905 a number of times and have tried their regular pizza, grandma slice, Marco Polo, and veggie. They have a number of options to suit almost any pizza palate. My favs are the grandma, which is a non risen Sicilian and the Marco Polo which has sauce over cheese. They are fast, amiable, and aim to please. They have outside and inside seating. I’m going to tell you for Apopka, FL or even Florida this is very good pizza. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better more authentic pizza at this price point in the area. I’m a snowbird and trying all the pizza in my hood. This is “Solid” pizza pie especially for Apopka, Florida. I tried their biggest pie with mushrooms and onions. Fresh ingredients, great crust, and a flavorful sauce.You can say whatever you want but it’s good and reasonably priced at $25.I will be a repeat customer, yeah I can tell you I live up north or that I’m from Brooklyn but honestly who gives a shxx. Ordered a large pizza, was ready in less time than they estimated and tasted phenomenal . Was curious about a slice they had for sale on the display, owner explained that he made a vodka sauce and was testing out the new pizza and ended up tossing it in the oven for us to take home... need to put this on the menu.
