Love, love, love. Very intimate, amazing atmosphere. Many menu choices, food excellent!! Plenty food on plate, you can't eat it all. I will be back and bringing friends. It definitely is authentic Chinese cuisine.
So I must say that I was not happy with the egg drop soup as traditionally i was not used to the extra ingredients in the soup. But to add insult to injury, I was lectured by the owner that my next plate would not be accommodated if I didn't like that. I was not expecting to get lectured like a child in any establishment by an adult. This was not good business sense. Just simply remove the dish....pay or no pay...to be lectured was totally unnecessary! Other than that the food as a whole was ok I must say our server Daniel was amazing!
ONLY COMPLAINT IS WE DON'T LIVE CLOSER!After the kids' track meet we all decided to grab lunch. Other family suggested yummy house and we were looking forward to trying it. This is more legit Chinese food than the average takeout place. We ordered some dishes and ate "family style" shared with our table of 7. We had the spicy calamari, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken, beef chow fun, and braised eggplant. All were delicious and now I know my son likes calamari! (Still a no for me though ?)The menu is extensive. Staff is kind. Food came out at super speed.Like I said first- I only wish we were closer and we'd be there more often.
Best food I've had in forever! Can't wait to go again!
It's obvious by the ratings that people around here have no idea as to what qualifies as good Chinese food. This place misses the mark with an C average. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. The place was pretty nicely clean too. The portions were fine. However, the food was very bland without much pop or spices as would be expected. In short, it wasn't much better than the average Chinese takeout. If you're from a city in which Chinese food excels, you might be somewhat disappointed here.
If you need some Chinese in your belly, Yummy House is the place for you, for just 21.38$ under the lunch special menu, we were able to get free tea and two well presented and tasting meals. The blending of flavors and the customer service really entranced me, not to mention as well that the location itself was ordain in cleanliness and decor, being spacious enougb that you could fit parties of five or more and then include smaller parties on the side. Overall a 5/5 from me.
I read a few Google reviews and the high rating on the food. Ordered on Uber eats. I’m not a negative person but damn, 7-11 could make better Chinese food. Bland and over priced. Do you like jokes? Order the egg rolls, $6 for 4 tiny egg rolls. You’re better off going to Panda Express then eating here!
I’ve had Chinese food all over the world, including China, so I can tell when I’m eating authentic Chinese food or not. Yummy House is my go to restaurant in Seminole County. The food is always fresh and the taste is consistently delicious. It doesn’t hurt that it’s one of the only restaurants that my son wants to keep going to.
I have been a regular costumer and proven that this restaurant is the best Chinese Restaurant in Orlando! The food has been consistently good! Fresh ingredients and delicious, and good presentation!!! The lunch special come with rice and drink ( hot tea in a pot or soda). Fast and friendly service too!Give it a try!!!
The food at this restaurant is very tasty. HOWEVER I have a disabled daughter who is usually the reason we dine out because she wants to. The hostess here has been very unkind to her on two occasions. I am unsure of the reason for this. My daughter is very well behaved. She has to use oxygen and the hostess advised that they could not provide room for the tanks. The entire experience both times was very unpleasant. I would advise any disabled person to avoid this restaurant.
