Tried this place out on a whim and was very impressed! It's a tiny little place but the food is top notch and differentiates itself from other burger spots with some of its offerings and toppings. Our only issue was the lack of air conditioning which was uncomfortable in the middle of the afternoon. Next time we'll either go at night when it's cooler or take it to go, but we'll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items!
The food was excellent, but the hot dogs were rather messy. There was also no air conditioning or a bathroom, which just increased my discomfort amd made it hard to appreciate everything. I enjoyed the food, but it’s a bit hard to do on a hot summer day when the inside temperature is in the mid 80s.

Nice menu selection. Friendly service. Good food. A tad on the messy side for my taste. A bit pricey. Definitely one of those hole in the wall joints. Id recommend, nice change from the chains.
Food was DELICIOUS. My fiancé and I got out of a movie and we’re looking for something good and quick. This hole-in-the-wall really hit the spot. We got a burger with chicken, 2 hot dogs and empanada, and none of them disappointed. I rarely ever eat hot dogs but this place changed me. Will definitely be going again to try their other items.
The restaurant, in the shadow of a gas station, sent underwhelming signals. But man did that burger delight. This definitely falls into the “treat” class of food, and isn’t something I could eat often, but I’ll be going back for the burger. The fries? Not so much.Grattin burger 9/10Fries 3/10
Good prices, the food is delicious, a little to much of sauces on top of my grattin dog. Just ask for no sauces if you don't like. On maybe on the side. We do like the Burgers as well.
Food is super yummy! They cook the patties to your liking - it comes out how you ask and not overcooked like some places. Sadly, the fries were plain and not the greatest but the beef empanada was filled so good. The portions are pretty good too for the price. Wish they had better seating and parking so we opted for take out. By the time we got home, the burgers were kinda soggy from the sauce and hard to eat. Regardless, definitely recommend if you’re craving a good burger!!
Well now we know why GRATTIN DOG was name one of the top 25 best burgers in town !! It's a "hole in the wall" but the burgers are amazing, delicious flavors.. is a Colombian owned restaurant, staff is amazing, friendly and attentive.. they have yummy Colombian treats and appetizers.. if you're on this side of town stop by, is so worth it.. it's kinda tricky to locate, it's location is behind the Citco Gas station across from Sun rail on 436.. not much parking, they have a few tables outside. Next door is a pizza spot we'll try next? ?????????????
Altamonte’s Hidden GemI was in the area for work and was glad that I found this place. It’s a tiny place hidden in a Citgo’s lot so don’t be surprised. The items I ordered were both good. I tried the Monster Dog and wasn’t sure if I’d like the different sauces on it but it works. My favorite was the beef Empanada. It’s full and they didn’t skimped on the filling. I’m looking forward to my next business trip to Altamonte because I’m going to try their burgers next plus another empanada of course.
