Chicago dog and company has Great food. However I am a little disappointment in Italian beef combo. The beef taste a little dry and not much seasoning. However I do like the majority of the food right there
Staff was friendly and courteous. The Chicago style polish sausage tasted great, just like the one I ate in Chicago! My son ate the spicy dog and said it was very spicy (and we like spicy). My nephew enjoyed his double stacked burger with a bunch of toppings. The outdoor setting made for a cool family experience. There are small table and a couple larger tables that can seat 8. The price was practical best of all! The food was made to order.
The kiddo wanted a hot dog and I like mine Chicago style so we took Google's recommendation and ended up here. What a great spot! The food was fantastic, the prices were fair, and the service was quick and friendly. We tried the dogs, burgers, fries, and pork sandwiches. Everything tasted delicious, but it didn't seem like it was freshly made. The dogs were hot but were a little soggy from steaming in the foil wrap. It seemed like maybe they have several pre-made dogs wrapped up and ready to go.Either way, we all loved the food and look forward to finding an excuse to visit again!
Delicious and multiple hot dog, cheeseburger and Italian sausage options plus French fries. ALL on point!! Plus the slushie shop just behind is fire!! Customer service is A+
Best thing that has happened to Forest City! Excellent food, very reasonable prices, clean and the owners are awesome. I promote this establishment every chance i get. I’ve brought a lot of out of towners here and they all luv it. Keep up the great work ladies! Happy 1 year anniversary!
The hot dogs did not disappoint. The Chicago dog is pretty good and the Vienna sausage is tasty. We enjoy the open air concept to dine. We drove 40 mins to visit this place but it was worth it. The only item I did not enjoy too much was the cheese fries. They were a bit saggy and not crispy. Perhaps when I return and try them again I may get crispier ones. Overall the prices are great and is a great spot for families. We will return.
Food was spectacular and priced fairly. We got there early so I had time to look through the windows, place was immaculate!They are closed every Monday for cleaning. Doug one of the owners said he spends 8 to 10 hours cleaning. If you saw how spotless it was, you can see it is time well spent!If you enjoy helping small business owners in our community than this has to be a stop on your list. They are doing this right!
Good food, decent price. Best hot dog. If your from Chicago like I am this part of the review is for you: the only thing k wish was different was that they used mozzarella on the Italian beef, not the melted nacho cheese sauce. Back home I’ve always had it with shredded mozzarella so it was a bit unexpected not to have the option.
