Because of the construction, there is only one way in or out. Today with the rain, there was a huge and unavoidable.pool of water that was almost two feet deep. Drove my truck through it thinking it was drivable and wow, my vehicle did not like it and got waterlogged.When I came in, there were only a couple tables seated and over 10 staff. I wanted to sit at a booth but every single one was dirty. The guy who greeted me told a young guy that his tables were dirty and the kid did nothing, so he took care of it himself.Service wise, Landon was very friendly and attentive - I could not ask for a better server!I ordered and ate some mozzarella sticks and a salad, which were decent, and took my Shrimp Scampi home. Well, upon opening up the scampi tonight - I see that it is a heap of spaghetti noodles with only 6 small shrimp and a small amount of sauce. I would think that paying $20 for dinner would get you more than that... It certainly does at other places.If I go another time, it will be a night there is no rain and only to pick a pizza up!
***Update below my original review.***Bits of plastic under the cheese on our pizza. It seemed like the plastic wrapping from a block of cheese got grated in with the cheese. I found 4 pieces of plastic that were as large as the tip of my little finger.That's a major quality control issue that should have been resolved. I fed this to my young children and now I worry they ate plastic. We order from Broadway at least once a week and have been for over a decade. I'm very disappointed.***UPDATE*** Management immediately responded and identified the issue within a day. Accidents happen and this is the only issue I have had an issue with an order from Broadway and I am very happy with how it was handled.
UPDATE: because this place has been amazing to me and my family with the food I did order again and told the one young kid I forgot his name sorry lol however I told him what happened and showed him the pictures with that being said he agreed that it wasn’t acceptable and made sure to offer me another one on the house whenever I am ready for it. ☺️ With that being said I didn’t let one disappointment interfere with the fact that I love this place.After spoiling me with the best pizza since moving to Florida from up north this place became my favorite late night pizza joint, but tonight's pizza was just terrible ??Anytime After receiving my food i always sit in the parking lot watching shows on my phone for a few because the food from day one has always been to good to wait to drive home (lakemary)however i’m so glad that’s my routine as I would’ve been really upset had i decided to wait until I got home to eat as this place is not down the street for me.Tonight not sure if it was new cooks or not enough supplies or maybe just over it tonight (tired) ??♀️?But My pizza looked and tasted like frozen store bought pizza The crust was barely baked through, the sauce was tasteless and barely covered the pie ?I hate complaining and asking for a redo of my food as i fear my new order of food will be tampered with in the worse way for complaining ?NOT saying that this place is known for that however SM shows a lot of those things happening and ya just never know ??♀️Anyways besides the pizza tonight THE LEMON PEPPER WINGS ARE THE SH*T!!! ☺️☺️ Still my favorite and the Broadway bites…. and the ravioli thingys TO DIE FOR always a good comfort food choice!I really didn’t want to give this place less than five stars as it’s been nothing but a five star visit ?But Tonights pizza was more of a four starbut everything else I ordered was perfect?Wish it was maybe a 4.5 star option ??♀️however tonight I was really in need of the best comfort food ? (buried one of the most important part of my heart last week??) and was a bit disappointed that my comfort food with the pizza was not a good choice tonight….Sorry for complaining ?Contemplating whether I can fix this when I get home or if I should call and order a new one ?just kind of nervous. ?
The customer service was terrible but The young lady on the phone was super sweet. The calzone and stromveggie arrived soggy and the box was even very soggy. The cheesecake calzone was not done and the dough was still gooey inside. We ordered almost $100 worth of food and they would not accept any coupons. Upon delivery the driver was rude. He was given a very nice tip and still made a comment about gas prices being too high clearly I know that being why I gave a great cash tip. Will not be ordering from here ever again.
Ordered a medium buffalo chicken pizza with mild spice level. The pizza is tasty and the mild spice was inconsistent across the pizza. Some bites were a lot spicier than others. Walked out of there with my lips on fire! I liked the sliced chicken
We like this place so much I had to add another review. We've been getting pizza and other goodies from this place for the last 15 plus years. Never had a bad pizza or a bad dinner. If you like New York style pizza and fantastic Italian food this is the best place you'll find in Central Florida. Appetizers salads and desserts are outstanding also. The good is always fresh and cooked to order. The restaurant in Altamonte has a nice bar and also covered outdoor seating. Keep up the good work Broadway we love you.
This place has a nice vibe and serves clean, fresh, tasty pizza. I tried the New York style Hawaiian chicken pizza . It wasn't the taste I was expecting but that's because I'm more used to fast food chain pizza options. For a first timer, I was pretty pleased with the taste and the service. Hoping to go back soon.
This restaurant has gone downhill. I just ordered their lasagna dinner which I used to really love and this time it was terrible. There was very little sauce, if any, and too much seasoning on top. The noodles used did not look like lasagna noodles; they were cut into small strips.Very disappointing because I always lovedtheir lasagna as well as their antipasta salad and pizzas. their laso
The quality of the food has gone down over the years. Never coming back. Ordered 5 orders of wings extra crispy wings and instead got undercooked and soggy wings. They messed up the order and didnt give the right seasoning. Really unfortunate to see this. This plaxe used to be good.
Really nice restaurant....Christina was awesome, we never waited for anything... WE WILL BE BACK VERY VERY SOON...Food is amazing..Need to put GLUTEN FREE PIZZA on menu and website.... Altamonte Springs
