myself and 3 other people came here for a last minute dinner but not our first choice. First I thought it was closed because there didn't seems to be cars in the parking lot and the inside was dark. we got sat quickly because we were the only people in the restaurant. I have no issue with the service but my god my food was worse than buffet food. my self and another person order the sesame chicken and we both had a hard time eating it. I have strong healthy teeth and there is no way I should've had an issue chewing the chicken, maybe it was freezer burned IDK, but i expect better quality. I would've been happier getting grand east buffet down the street. Secondly they charge for every little thing. Like I couldn't swap rice for lo mein. which you normally can in a take out place. I couldn't get pork friend rice instead of plain rice. Then I wanted them to make half the chicken with orange sauce and half sesame but they couldn't accommodate that request either. If I was the owner and we were your only table for 2 hours during a dinner rush it would be wise to please the 1 group of customers you do have.
Have been here many times for lunch and dinner. I worry sometimes with places that have large menus that the quality of the dishes suffer, but this is not the case here; I have enjoyed every dish I've gotten and have never second guessed recommending or bringing people here. Everyone I bring enjoys the food. The ingredients are always fresh the food is always hot and delicious and the portions are huge. They do a great job with both authentic and American- chinese dishes. Service is fast and attentive. One of the few places you can find real hot mustard and good pad thai. Felt compelled to write a review because this place is so good I want it to prosper and stay open for as long as I'm around.
Excellent food and service. A little pricey but I think it's because they have a liquor license. Waitress was very attentive and the food came quick.
One of the best in Northern Delaware. Love this place. Not very expensive. Great for spicy Chinese cooking.
Dined here on new years eve. Food was delicious, our server was also very friendly. It was a great experience.
I stumbled upon one of my favorite Asian dishes to date out in San Fransisco and have been searching the area for a place that offered the same dish. Well, I found it, and it's here :) The chicken with hot dry pepper is a very spicy, yet flavorful dish with crispy flavorful nuggets of chicken mixed with plenty of small crispy whole red chilies and a side of white rice. What I enjoy most about this dish is how its dry, not covered in sticky sauces complimented with a great heat slowing you down as you grab a drink a feel the burn.
Beat place in the area for real Chinese food. They do have the typical take out as well that's better quality. I always go here for Chinese.
It’s real authenticity
Must order Mung Bean Jelly. Still the Top#1 all over the states. As good as years ago! Also tried Roasted whole fish. Too dry. Not recommended.
I've been coming here since it was at its old location in Newark. I love this place. Fantastic authentic Chinese food, great prices. The flash-fried stuff is crispy to perfection. The soups are exquisite. Every time I have eaten here it has been wonderful. Good lunch specials, although I think the best food here is not in the lunch section.
