The worst part about getting bad food is the server telling you the food is fine. The wings I ordered were old, reheated then tossed in a scalding sauce. They were inedible. I was told that's how they're served to avoid them being raw. Bye girl.Wings at the Westin were delicious!
We had a party of 8 people, we ordered food before last call, our friend stepped out to take a phone call and they wouldn’t let him back in to eat his food. They insisted that he can take his food to go while the other 7 members of our table at sitting down. Their communication during the entire evening was rude, with the exception of our waiter who was great. Go anywhere else.
Food was great. Service was mediocre at best. Granted, we went at the slow time in the middle of the afternoon, but that shouldn't prevent water cups from being refilled, lemon being brought to the table, or generally poor service being provided. On the other hand, as mentioned, the food was great. I had the fish and chips and it was some of the best fish and chips I've had ever. One of the people at my table had the shrimp appetizer and she said the same thing about it.It also looks like this location has a great selection of beers on tap and some unique mixed drinks. Well I can't hold heartedly recommend the location because of the poor service, I think it's definitely deserves a repeat visit.
Decent food.Service at the bar was fast & friendly.Service at the table?Well, that's why I got up & went to the bar for drinks!!
We had excellent service, and very accommodating. Really nice vibe to the place. We enjoyed our visit and enjoyed our meal, delicious.
They wings and crab bisque soup are very good. I’ve have the cheesecake egg rolls and that was too thick for a egg roll in my opinion. This time I ordered online and arrived the time the online tracker said it would be ready still waited about 20 minutes for my food. Mind you it was already paid for! Customer service could have been better. We waited twenty minutes after walking to the other side of the bar for the gentleman to even acknowledge us, the only minorities at the bar at that time so that was awkward. But over good wings and soup.
The Washington Street Ale House Is located in the business district of center city Wilmington, adjacent to Miki Moto’s and across from Christiana Care Hospital. They specialize in great food and handcrafted beers. They have an incredible selection of local microbrews and over 24 on tap.I go for the burgers.
Why this place is not packed and on a wait, is beyond me. From the moment I walked in , the classy tavern look with the modern twist is very inviting. Let’s just start with the spirits, try any of the crushers, won’t be disappointed. As far as appetizers, great choices, try the fire cracker shrimp and cheese steak spring rolls. We decided to go for the Boneless short ribs, yummmmy, paired with seasonal veggies and mash. Wifey got the Bourbon glazed chicken, very , very good. Wilmington , let’s show this hidden gem some love.
This is one of our favorite places for wings and beer Have been coming here for years. Love the atmosphere and the beer wall listing.
I frequent this spot often and its always a great experience. Fun staff, good food.
