Best Prime Rib Ever!! Been coming for over 25 years and never had a bad experience. Excellent food, exceptional service, and great wine selection. The owner cares about this place and it really shows.
Very good food and service, and the prime rib which is their specialty was excellent!
I'm wondering if the owner/management changed here. I used to come here frequently back in the early 2000's and the steak was wonderful. Charred on the outside, perfectly pink in the middle-a true steakhouse steak. We went last weekend and the filet came out in a weird, flat shape and smelled like it had been boiled-no crust, seemingly no seasoning either. The twice baked potato was relatively tasteless as well. On the flip side, the decor in the new room was very nice and the wedge salad was great. It's a shame.
This is our favorite steak/prime rib place. Best I’ve ever tasted!
The food was delicious and the server was great I highly recommend
Amazing food..and atmosphere..my husband and I have celebrated several anniversaries there and we've taken our friends as well. We make reservations because with an almost hour drive it's well worth it. We used to enjoy Thursday and Sundays because of the seafood buffet they offered (with dinner) but with Covid that stopped. Hopefully it will come back.
It took a long time to get our food. But the steak was worth the wait! I ordered the Delmonico steak platter and it was the juiciest steak I ever had in my life! Super tender. The sides were very skimpy and small. The salad that came with it was small as well. It states the platter comes with bread but the waiter only brought one bread to the table and we ordered 4 platters. All in all I will be returning just for the steak.
The food is 100% buffet. We had the stuffed mushrooms (3) that were flavorless. We ordered the porterhouse plus extra sides for me, as I’d just have a few pieces of his steak. The steak was cooked to the proper med-rare temp, but there was no crust on the outside and big pieces of fat (not rendered). The creamed spinach was cold and the baked potato were minuscule.PLUS the bathrooms had caked on dirt and grime. I can only imagine how gross the kitchen must be.The best part of the experience was our server. He was a young, African American man who was the most professional server I’ve ever experienced.
I worked there for a few years and I can safely say that the PRIME RIB is always on point (get it mid rare). For steaks go with the Delmonico with the coffee rub...you will thank me later. The wine selection is also amazing.
Great Prime Rib sandwich, awesome Fries! Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse was phenomenal. Only suggestion is creamed horseradish sauce could be stronger, but that's a personal thing
