But he must take me as a bumb or something bc its not what u say its how u say it
The most nasty chicken I ever test over cook dry I will naver get nothen from them again
Our job did a huge catering order because I recommended them. Bad idea to say the least..the chicken looked like it was yesterday's chicken VERY dark and dried out now I used to like my chicken dropped back on occasions for myself but for a large catering order it should have been fresh. We could barely chew it. The potatoe salad was good as usual and the mac and cheese was ok. The greens taste like it straight out of a can. I believe in 2nd chances so I will be back but the corporate $ was a lost cause.
Stopped by here with the hopes of getting some fried chicken to go fairly quickly. Looked over the online menu before going. We planned on getting some fried chicken, chicken-n-dumplings and waffles. Once at Walt's, I went up to the entrance to noticed that they were ONLY allowing 3 patrons inside at a time. The inside is really tiny and felt uncomfortable during the pandemic. The ordering area was somewhat dingy and smelled stale. I waited in line behind another patron to order. Once at the window, the cashier informed me that they no longer served chicken-n-dumplings. One of our kids wanted that, so I tried to switch it to a kids chicken leg meal & was informed that they no longer offered kids meals since they did NOT have cups for the kids drinks. So, I ended up ordering 2 chicken legs, 2 breasts, a side of mashed potatoes and a waffle. AFTER placing my order, I was told that they had to heat up the waffle iron & that was going to take "about 10 minutes". Now, I was a bit irritated!! NO chicken-n-dumplings, NO kids meals & NOT prepared to serve up waffles. The food: The waffle was actually REALLY good. The kids said they were definitely worth the wait. I tried them and it was excellent. I hated to admit that they were actually worth the wait. Fried chicken was very good. It had excellent flavor, was tender and juicy with a flavorful crispy skin. Mashed potatoes on the other hand were gross. They taste odd. They have a sort of smoky flavor and a pasty texture. I would not recommend the potatoes at all. Overall, the fried chicken and waffles were excellent. I would return for those items alone based on taste. However, the service was absolutely terrible. They had no sense of urgency and were not very friendly. They were out of items or no longer served them. Prices were a tad high. Ordering area was dingy, dark and smelly. I actually waited outside for my food since it was a turn-off. Parking out front is very limited to what you can find on the street. I would recommend with some the cautions: be prepared for SLOW service and an unappealing building/food counter.

That chicken was great. And so is the mac n cheese
Damn good chicken. Damn good banana pudding too.
Fast service, chicken was fresh and delicious!
I love their chicken. Although it could be hotter and they always got cold fries and the new employees have terrible attitudes and the customer service stinks... I miss the old walts
