This was our second time going to Tonic and it won’t be our last. The food was great, the service (Alex was our server) was great, the drinks were great. Looking forward to next time.
Great service, food was delicious. There was a bit of ambient noise that was distracting and I was surprised at the lack of even business casual dress. Seems like nobody dresses even a little for dinner at a nice restaurant anymore.
Food overall was only pretty good, but not worth it to come back. I like to have a good restaurant in walking distance of the Playhouse, but just like with Cafe Mezzanotti, was disappointed.
Met friends to celebrate a birthday. Sat outside on a beautiful evening, eating great food in a relaxed, comfortable, pretty environment. Our server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were able to find delicious options for varied diets. Love Tonic!
The steaks here are fantasic and will run you roughly $50. What surprised me though, was the wedge salad. They prepare the salad for you, which is served like a traditional salad instead of the standard quartered head of lettuce.If you want plentry of food for half the cost of a steak, try a wedge salad, and bacon short-rib mac and cheese. It was excellent.
