I’ve heard of The Reef for years but never been. Hubby decided to surprise me and take me here and I screamed like a child!!!!??? We set at the bar and TOTALLY went in with drinks, appetizers and entrées. The place was freaking spotless (I love a place /restaurant so clean you can feel it) ! ? The bartender was amazing , the appetizers came out between 5-8 minutes, wasn’t a fan the Bikini Martini as it was a little thick & sweet for my liking but everything else was great! I’d visit again for sure especially to experience the live band.

We ate here during our trip! We are Floridians and we were passing through for our first time in Delaware. We decided to stop here and that decision definitely paid off! From the moment we walked in, Amy had a huge smile and a nice welcome greeting us in from the bar. The entire experience from her phenomenal customer service to the perfection of the food…we were blown away. Truly the best food we had our entire Valentine’s Day trip. It was juicy! It was fresh! The Shirley Temples were perfect and cold! I loooove food and will definitely drive there the next time I’m traveling North from Florida. Also, the entire place was clean and smelled clean too! The bathroom was adorable and spotless as well! I love when restaurants have great food, service, and cleanliness! Thank you Amy and the rest of the team for an amazing experience at your restaurant and Delaware ? Best server we have had in a loooong time! From the Florida Couple!

My husband and I stopped in today for the first time , the food was excellent, My husband had NY strip steak that melted in his mouth, I had the blackned salmon with grilled asparagus and loaded potato. We also started out with the stuffed shrimp and lobster bisque soup as appetizers. All the food was delicious and will be returning soon. The best food we have had in a long time and we have traveled to many places. Connie was our waitress and took very good care of us. Very pleased and loved the food choices on the menu. Our favorite place now

This is my second time here and everything was so amazing especially our server Joe. Joe thank you so much for talking with us and keeping us in an amazing atmosphere as well as making us very happy. Like I said the food was sooooo amazing as well as the drinks. My children had ordered the Shrimp platter, I ordered the crab dip(I dug in too fast lol) as well as the Cajun dry rub wings and the firecracker shrimp tacos ? which came with white rice and black beans. We also ordered the calamari, 2 orders of mussels and The dockside trio(grilled gulf shrimp ?, sea scallops, fried cod).

The Crab Tater Tachos are OUT OF THIS WORLD! I’m a big fan of tater tots and this has been my go to each time I’ve visited. Crispy taters with cheesy goodness and jalapeños and sour cream. It’s just the perfect combination and it’s so very delicious! This is the second time I’ve visited this establishment, and it’s always fresh and good. My friends had the chicken quesadillas and fried mozzarella, both raved about them! Reasonable prices, and the establishment has grown since Covid which is so good to see. The last time the place was smaller, but was still very nice atmosphere. The outside you think it’s a little hole in the wall, but it’s spacious, clean and welcoming. I may make this my go to place as it’s close, convenient and like I said the food will keep you coming back! Oh and shout out to Tia for being an awesome waitress, I witnessed she was at the end of her shift and she was so attentive to us! She’s amazing! I’ll be seeing you soon!

We were traveling from California and staying in Delaware. We met at the Reef as a halfway point for family in PA. None of us had been there before and we chose by menu and location. The place looks very low key/casual. The food was excellent! Great staff. Our waitress was awesome. Service was great! Music (no band last night) was good and not too loud to where you could hold a conversation. Will we be back? Absolutely!!?

I truly enjoyed our Date Night here. We were looking for a good steak on a whim in the area. Food was pretty good, I got the Ribeye with Cajun butter, onions and Hubby got Sirloin normal price for both. Live Band was a nice touch. All in all we enjoyed ourselves. Just a heads up they add tip into overall price not a big deal but just a warning.

Stopped in a couple times over the last month as we live in the area. Truly a great place to have a few beers with friends. Clean, great service, fair prices and very good food. Also we love the live entertainment. One last thing we liked was the Large LED TV set-up with multiple channels going. The Chive channel on the TVs had us cracking up! Can't thing of anything I would want to change here.

Great live music!! Good food and prices !! Drinks are also very good!!! The crab cakes are my favorite ?

The physical place is awesome! Piano, full stage, large layout, lots of tvs, etc. Looks like it could be a lot of fun. I only had appetizers, but the food was over priced and horrible. The calamari was way over cooked and like rubber, so their seafood wasn't good. The wings were over $1.50 each and you wouldn't even believe what they call a wing. A disgrace, they were sooooo small. Go ANYWHERE else for wings....for sure. As I was leaving some lady had a sever on live trying not to pay her bill for some reason or another.... pretty ghetto
