We order here three times and our friends from Maryland ordered with us , We all were so amazed with the excellent Food, the quality, the texture, the taste so delicious and full of flavor in every bite along with some spices. On different occasions our orders was 2 ox tails LG and Sm, Lamb , Curry chicken, Salmon all with Rice and Bean and Cabbage and Jerk Chicken with Rice no beans and Cabbage... Love this place.. Come visit and try it... Prices varies...
I can't say enough good things about Mayne Dish. I needed catering on short notice for a memorial service. I went to their restaurant explained what I needed and they were so easy to work with and the prices were VERY reasonable. Even when there was a glitch ( not their fault, the venue was disorganized) in the delivery they still came through. And on top of everything the food was excellent! When my Jamaican Aunt who is the best cook I know says " mmmhmm, the jerk chicken taste good!" Well, they definitely have my vote. Thanks so much!

I’ve been going to the Mayne Dish since it opened several years ago. The food only gets better. It’s always served at the right temperature and is always flavorful and tasty. There are various daily specials in addition to the core menu for variety. I have also catered food for the holidays and everyone loved it. The staff are polite and friendly.
Best food around! Everything was cooked perfect and tasted amazing. The jerk chicken and ox tail is my favorite. The staff is friendly and you can tell they care about the food. I highly recommend.
I was charged $35 for this small meal. When I go to SPICE N NICE I get something way bigger & plentiful than this FOR ONLY $15-$17 !!! I wouldn’t mind if I paid that much for the large silver tray but this is a small platter. & the fish is small too!! Never Again my friend!UPDATE : after taking it to Facebook Mayne Dish owner reached out to me saying the woman who Rung me up made a mistake and charged me for salmon & they refunded me the full amount. Now I appreciate thank you. & it was never my intent to bash a small business. I am a small business owner myself . But there are two things I don’t play about and that’s my money and my son. Thanks for resolving our issue!
The Mayne Dish is my go to for Caribbean food in Wilmington. I migrated here 14 years ago from D.C. It's easy to find good Caribbean food there. I was not having much success here. That is until I lucked up on the Mayne Dish. In my experience, the food is always on point! The jerk has a nice kick, but not unpleasantly so. The curry dishes are good as well. I love me some cocoa bread and beef patties. All of the selections we've had have been excellent!
I had the curry chicken with the rice and peas with a side of Mac and cheese and a beef patty. The chicken was coming off the bone, the veggies were perfectly stewed, the rice was absolutely delicious, the mac and cheese were great as well. Excellent experience all the way through. Would recommend 12/10

So pleased to find a place in Delaware that serves legitimate Jamaican Food. Good spice! Loved the curry goat, plantains, rice and peas. I can’t wait to try the oxtail! As my Island sister would say, “food so good make me wanna slap my momma”. Enjoy!!!
