I actually live just outside of Philadelphia but I happen to be in the area of this place for an appointment, so it had great reviews I decided to check it out. I'm so glad that I did place was really nice very clean all of the employees were very nice and helpful since it was my first time there. I got waffles and ice cream and it was delicious. Anytime I'm in the area it is already saved for me to stop back!
Great place to go for after dinner dessert. The ice cream was tasty and the crepe here was very good. I got the strawberry and Nutella crepe with chocolate ice cream and it was a great combination. The crepe came with a lot of strawberries too which was great. Definitely worth checking out to grab coffee or for ice cream.
I really like this place by the last several times have gone steadily downhill. They have been keeping cases open which melts the ice cream too quick. The inside of the case is dirty. The counters are dirty. I ordered a milkshake and it was handed to me with milkshake down the sides and over flowing the top. One time we sat inside and a customer was sitting on the coach with her nasty bare feet on the corner fee table. I won’t be back until you up your standards.
I’m disappointed because I have been to Sweet Nel’s 3 times and I don’t understand why the Icecream totally tastes like sea salt. I just asked for coffee and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge. Totally tasted like sea salt. Couldn’t eat it. The first time I went I got 2 other flavors and caramel. What is going on? Totally tasted like sea salt. Not into sea salt . Just wanted a normal caramel sundae and a normal hot fudge sundae. I hope that you can figure out why all of your desserts are over powered by the sea salt taste. Yuk !!
My son and I visited this shop for the first time and we were impressed! Julianna is an amazingly, spectacular human being!! Her character was exemplary as she is deserving of this praise ?.Needless to say, the store was very clean and tidy. The Gelato options were plentiful and absolutely delicious ?.Thank for a lovely experience as we will return again and very soon. ?
Very good ice cream and nice place, but they tend to keep their freezer lids open and last two times we went, their hard ice cream wasn’t very hard and cold. (Almost like soft serve) Also smaller servings- 2 scoops are almost a must. Again, good ice cream but just small things prevent it from being super great!
The staff here is always amazing. Just last week they were trying out a new syrup flavor and they brought my wife and I each a free iced latte with the new Pistachio flavoring, it was delicious. La Colombe coffee, ice cream, gelato everything is top notch. We love this place.
I and my son always came here once a week for delicious crepe’s and waffle but you changed the ice black tea flavor, terrible taste! I hope you guys always keep the foods or drinks consistent. Anyhow we’re still coming in without the drink.
Awesome waffles, tasty ice creams and kind and friendly staff, had to wait 15 mins for service because of staff shortage…
