We were celebrating.my brotherâs 70th birthday. Everything was fabulous!
We quite like this place for the food and servers. The hostesses unfortunately never seem to have it together. There is always some problem with reservations, necessitating a wait and a strained conversations amongst the staff. Perhaps take fewer reservations if you can't handle it.
Had a really lovely meal last night at Sullivans. Our waitress was delightful, and my boyfriend and I really loved our filet mignon and strip steak. Creamed spinach and mashed potatoes were also delicious. Only minor complaint...caesar salad is uncut lettuce. I personally dont like cutting my own salad at a restaurant but it tasted good. We will be back soon!

One of our favorite restaurants in the Wilmington area seems to have fallen on hard times. The food is still good , the service has fallen, and the atmosphere needs a lot of help. Crowded with parties of 12 or more at more than one table, and a private party in the back room leave the servers little time to attend to the patrons not included in the aforementioned groups. The fact that the bread was brought to the table a mere ten seconds before the dinner after being told that it just needed a little more heat in the oven tells you all that you need to know about the conditions at what was once considered one of the best in Wilmington. Not only that, but no one bothers to dress accordingly anymore so ripped jeans, slovenly attire and tee shirts have become the norm. No thanks, but thanks for the memories
Other than celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary,this visit was the very best.Our previous visit in which there was a problem was greatly resolved.Sullivanâs certainly does care about their patrons as at least for us.We were treated to a wonderful steak dinner that was our best sine patronizing this steakhouse.(about 18 years).The server that I always request is Nick.(great personality and a positive breath of fresh air as servers go.Talking with Nick is almost like being with family.
We hadnât been there in a while and the service and the food were still awesome. Only observation is the restaurant is looking old inside. Needs a freshen up

Enjoyed a wonderful meal. My husband thinks their Ribeye steak is the best around. I'm not a meat eater but enjoyed the shrimp stuffed with crab. Server was very attentive and friendly which made for a great dining experience. We will be back.
Had dinner with another couple and the steaks were outstanding! Waiter was very good and service was great. All 4 of us had a great time.
