As always, the food and service were excellent. Jamie was sweet as can be getting us seated and settled, and Connor was very attentive and efficient. Food came out perfectly presented, and extremely delicious… Toscana is a favorite restaurant… we eat there several times a month… my only challenge ever is finding entree sized dishes at an 18 to 20 dollar price point… I usually have an appetizer ( pulpo is a particular favorite) and a salad… but a little more variety at that level would be nice… we’d be in even more! And for the record, the lamb special tonight was amazing…

We have frequented the restaurant for several years and have never had a complaint until now. Our standout issue with the experience was the music! It was obnoxious and poorly chosen. Ambient, wordless music is what restaurants should play. At times we felt like the music was on par with kids bop and lyrics competed with conversations. Next gripe, have your servers wear one color or consistent uniforms. It just felt unpolished and too casual. The hostess (or bartender - couldn’t tell which position) was in a totally inappropriate outfit for work which was an Incredibly revealing onesie that left nothing to the imagination - time for a managerial meeting and dress code.

Love this place!!! I travel from Maryland just to taste this delicious food!!! It’s worth the time and money spent…it never fails to satisfy.

We always have a great dinner at Piccolina Toscana. The wine pours are some of the most generous we’ve seen locally. The food arrived at the table piping hot. My husband and I shared the grilled avocado appetizer and eggplant side. With our entrees, this was more than enough for dinner. We both agreed each dish was excellent. It was nice to be in a restaurant that included families, couples, small groups and large groups. All seemed to be having a great time.

Food and service were excellent. Pleasant staff. We enjoyed scampi and a ravioli dish. Short but excellent wine list.

Great food, nice restaurant and staff was on point

The food was fine. Service was friendly.

Wonderful service from our lovely server Grace. Started with the pulpo appetizer and even our dining companions tried octopus for the first time and liked it. Our entrees were all excellent from the hefty and juicy porkchop, to the the delicate butternut squash filled ravioli, to the branzino. We brought our own birthday cake and there was a $2/person plate charge. The dining room was quiet when we were seated at 5:15 but diners continued to arrive. However the atmosphere was subdued enough to have a conversation. Highly recommended!

First time back to this restaurant in about ten years. The menu has a large variety of foods I usually enjoy. The preparation and taste were enjoyed by all. Look forward to going back soon. I give this restaurant an A+. The service was impeccable. Our server, Grace, was gracious and a pleasure to be served by. She answered all our questions regarding the menu entrees. She made our visit enjoyable and pleasant.

Truly enjoyed this lovely restaurant. My dining partner told me it’s been a Wilmington stalwart for many years, but this was my first visit and I found the food, ambiance, and staff really wonderful. Special shout-out about the eggplant appetizer/small plate—really great! I’ll be back!!
