I have been coming to this place over and over the past 5-6 years and I’m never disappointed. It’s a simple Vietnamese pho restaurant, and that’s all it really needs to be.The portions are great for the price and they have all kinds of sauces on deck to suit your tastes. The red chili oil and red chili pastes are essential for my need for spice. Not all pho places around here have those sauces. The summer rolls are also amazing!
I would give their food a 5 but there’s a lot of room for them to improve in terms of customer service and cleanliness of their restaurant. It has happened several times that I call for a pick up and they have given me the wrong thing, not what I ordered. There’s never someone who actually understands me completely on the phone. I never know if they actually understand what I ordered, until I see they have given me the wrong thing. Many times they have gotten it wrong due to their limited English. I keep coming back because their food is great, but they should try to improve this in order to help their customers avoid being dissatisfied and I have to throw away the food. Also, the can try to keep their front door and space cleanER, it looks really dirty at times. The people are always nice but to if they would not mess up my #17 vegetarian pho so often when I order by phone, I would give them a 5stars.
They charged more than it appeared on the receipt! I didn’t pay the tip because they put my friends’ order on my check while I’ve never ordered it and eaten any of it. They didn’t ask how I would split and charged more than I needed to pay. Therefore, no tip for the balance as I thought. But they still charged the tip when I never signed any tip on the receipt. Never gonna visit the restaurant again.
Absolutely love this resturaunt. This place was my introduction to vietnamese cuisine. Ive been all over the country trying different vietnamese resturuants and no matter what I always end up coming back here. The flavors are perfect and the portion sizes are so huge for the price. Ive never been disappointed one time. There was a time I accidentally ordered the wrong item and I wasnt even mad because it was even better than the last meal. Staff are hardworking and super polite. My favorite meal is the broken rice platter with pork and meat pie.
We stopped here with our 4 children and loved it!! We had noodle soup and fried rice. The food was very good and the people very friendly.
Food was pretty bland. Hard to understand the owner. No fountain drinks. Decent portions and seemed decent quality food
This used to be the one and only pho restaurant in Newark. I love how they maintained business for long years. Also, It’s crazy how the owner still remembers me and my family!! Their soup tastes dark beef broth and it’s really addictive. ?
This is the OG Vietnamese restaurant in Northern Delaware, it's been here for years, and been consistently good for all those years. I love it. I love the atmosphere, it's a kind mellow, nice lighting, spacious, casual but comfortable. It just makes me feel good being here. The food is absolutely classic. Pho, bun, and a few more unusual items too, a moderately large menu. Everything I've ever ordered here has been really good. Service is quick and the food is always really fresh, flavorful too. They have all the condiments I want, including the special ones like the chunky, non-sweet sambal oelek and the oily hot sauce, if you ask for it. I highly recommend this place.
A wonderful place to dine nice atmosphere and friendly service.
Always recommended. Never had a bad experience.
