This place has the best brisket in the area. The ribs are fall off the bone and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend if ur looking for top tier bbq in Northern Wilmington.
Drove 20 minutes there and 20 back to get a smoked brisket sandwich.. which ingredients are brisket and bar b que sauce. Got back and realized they forgot the bar b que sauce (how) They had no intention of rectifying the situation. After messing up my 15$ sandwich with 2 ingredients they made fun of me on the phone and said they would “give me a dollar next time I come in ‘if I tell them they owe me a dollar’ ” .. if you’re on a short lunch break and value your time and have respect for yourself I would avoid this place like the plague.
Great BBQ place! Both the pulled pork and grilled chicken sandwiches were really tasty! The side of garlic rice was delicious as well.Would highly recommend the "Dirty Mac" with the pulled pork if you're a Mac and Cheese fan. Friendly and helpful staff. 10 out of 10 would recommend! ??

It was my first time there. I am passionate about great brisket. It's good. Has a pretty good flavor. Service was good. I also got the smoked baked beans. Nothing special.
This restaurant is the only good reason to go to the concord mall, single handedly making it a destination in our lives again. It’s THAT GOOD! We need to talk about the amazing chicken waffle sandwich. The chicken is better than Chick-fil-A, the waffles are fluffy and delightful, and the touch of honey is inspired. Their other food is amazing too. Do yourself the favor and get the brisket and fries. Pros: great barbecue and life changing chicken sandwich - Popeyes goodbye. Cons: Sides besides the fries are meh but the main meal more than makes up for it!
We have eaten at this place a few times now and ever time the food was delicious and perfect BBQ. We have had their brisket, ribs, chicken, spring rolls, and today I got the chicken and waffle sandwich. None disappointed! This waffle is giving me life! The inside of the restaurant was far nicer than we expected the first time from the outside with comfortable and clean booths. It's a shame from the outside their branding and name don't reflect the service and excellent food and large portions. They are usually empty, which makes me sad more people don't give them a try, but I think it's the mishmash between their outward food trucky branding and the classy sit down restaurant feel inside. The food is good! Give it a try!
Was picking up chic filet for someone else and decided to stop in and get some brisket to go. Was really good, hope that this place will be able to withstand being located at a mall. Great food if I were the owner I’d consider a different location though because it seems like there customer base would rely entirely on mall traffic. Great food, hope to walk in and see it packed one day…. Just don’t know if it’s possible with its location since malls are dying off to online retail and outlet stores.
The greens had no taste, Mac and cheese noodles were over cooked it was very mushy also had no taste not even a slight hint of cheese, ribs were very dry and old tasting, brisket had an taste oven baked taste.
Let’s just say the pitmaster knows what he’s doing! Always been a fan and they make fantastic garlic rice and slaw. Brisket is always juicy and well seasoned. Ribs are delicious too
