Excellent service but the food and drinks were mediocre at best. We were given cold, old chips with equally disappointing salsa. We usually request several servings at other restaurants but here we barely touched it. Our dishes were nothing special and the drinks were the same. So disappointing as we were hoping this would be our new place. We won’t be coming back.

The service was excellent but that was about it. The chips arrived cold and old tasting. The salsa wasn't any better. Normally we order lots of chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants. Not this time. The food was pretty tasteless. The drinks weren't much better. We won't be returning.

The Black Bean Soup is absolutely the best! Also, Chicken Tortilla Soup, garlic shrimp quesadillas, taco salad. . . . . . simply luscious. Haven't had anything I didn't like there. The owner, Tony, puts so much care into the food and service at the restaurant.

We love the Mexican Post. The food is great and so are the people that work there. The bar area is friendly and fun.Our favorite things to order are queso, steak fajitas and taco salad. They also offer endless amounts of chips and salsa! The restaurant has a casual vibe.It is great for families too because it’s a very affordable restaurant.

I am leaving a good review cause I know how nice of a guy the owner is, however next time I go there to eat me and the owner are going to talk about what happened today! We will leave it at that for now! I know he will take care of my concern once he is advised of situationCould not find an email to communicate with himOwner deserves this good review cause I know he will address my concern

I have been going to this this restaurant for a few years and it’s been nothing but exceptional. The food is great as well as the service. They are very fast even when it’s busy. I highly recommend the queso and tacos. As someone with celiac I would also like to mention how good they are with gluten free food. Their homemade chips are gluten-free and I assume they are great with preventing cross contamination since I haven’t gotten sick from them yet.

Service was excellent however the chicken enchiladas were dry. I was hoping for a sauce and cheese taste. Sour cream helped. Love the chips and salsa on the table but would have appreciated a milder salsa.

Cute place with a large menu and decent margaritas! The thing that made it great was our supper attentive and very friendly waitress, Sharon. She made sure we knew the specials, gave recommendations, and got our food out quick. Would definitely come back again!

This food is trash seriously. I ordered through door dash a chicken FAJITA salad. I got a taco shell with an extreme amount of lettuce, jalapeños, black olives (why? Who puts black olives in a fajitas) chicken. Not 1 pepper or onion to make it a FAJITA. I called and asked whsts on the salad they said exactly what I got. I asked well what makes it a fajita salad I could have just ordered the chicken taco salad for 4 dollars cheaper. They had only 1 answer the taco salad is shredded chicken. Ill never divert from eltapitia again. So disappointed ?

It’s just okay. The Mexican post lager is good. The food falls flat. It’s a Mexican restaurant served by 83% white staff(look it up). You don’t go into a Chinese restaurant and expect to see a white man making your food you know. If you want food that is just okay then go for it but for the price you’re better off going down the street to el tapatio and that is definitely my mistake of today. The waitress was nice and did just her job so again the service was fine. So if you want fine or okay then go right ahead.
