This McDonald's location did a great job today. There was a sale on their crispy chicken sandwiches too. If you haven't tried them, they might be the best fastfood chicken sandwich you can get on a Sunday.
Hot cheesy burgers, hot salty fries, and cold southern sweet tea just sweet enough. Thanks for a great meal for lunch while on the road working, and fast drive thru service. Will definitely be stopping back by when I come back up this way!!!
If you’re thinking of yourself, you’d be better off not choosing this, or any, McDonald’s. First off, this food chain’s standard of quality has always been poor and has gotten worse throughout the years. Secondly, overall, this food chain has been notorious for having a substandard caliber of staff and deficient customer service, and is tremendously suffering since the pandemic. But besides that, and that McDonald’s is a multi-billion dollar global company interested in nothing but your immediate money, and is overwhelmingly horrible for your health, with the price for two lunch meals, you can go to a local cafe and order two meals, sit at a table and get served, and have MUCH better food, experience, and service. I understand the “urge” you can get for McDonald’s, and may want to innocently satisfy that craving, but as it is now, it’s a rip-off!! Way, way too expensive! Not when you don’t get your worth at McDonald’s and can assuage your hunger and value at many, many better places.
Probably doesn't matter, because it's Mcdonalds chain, and why would they close any location, anywhere, ever. But just waited 10 minutes in a 3 car line for a Big Mac with no burger inside. Don't even care if I get money back or comped a burger, but this is ridiculous for a 65 year old burger chain. I almost pulled out of line waiting to order my food, but was craving a BigMac. Seriously regretting this decision for an $11 meal. But hey, the fries were hot.
Literally had absolutely nothing on their menu... The lady insulted my intelligence and tried to tell me they had no fries because they were waiting for them to thaw out..... Um.. ok. Just a bunch of lazy employees that don't wanna work because every time I go here it's a different excuse as to why they only have burgers and maybe nuggrts if your lucky. Employees outside smoking blunts in cars, with the drive thru mic on their head and I have seen them ask me to hold while they finished smoking and ran inside to take my order. Just all together a bad location.
I almost got rear ended due to the drive in line being out into the road. This is the TINIEST Mc Donald's I have ever seen!!! The drive through is obviously the bread winner for this Mc Donalds location! One person at the counter speaking broken english, and the bathroom though designed perfectly for the space was also awkwardly small... my Father said his food tasted fine.
This is the best McDonald’s in the area, and it’s STILL hit or miss. Today I got shorted a burger patty on my double quarter pounder. A few weeks ago they told my my mobile order payment didn’t go through so I paid at the window. Only to find out once getting to work that not only was my order manually canceled by the employee, but they added on the price of a water bottle that I didn’t order or receive.Again, this is the single best one in the northern Wilmington area and I often get the order right and the employees are almost always respectful and great. The one on market street has rude employees who restrict business as they feel, I can only assume due to laziness. They also apply random rules like “only selling nuggets and fries or only accepting cash between 10-11pm. The one on Philly pike also closes whenever they want regardless of posted hours and I don’t think I’ve got the order I asked for there in the past 4 visits.
Just stoped for a quick pick-up at the drive thru. $1.00 coke, can not beat that. Only problem is no room to get off the highway to get in line at the drive thru lane. Not very safe setting half way on, half way off the road.
Food was as expected for McD. The spicy nuggets seemed like it had less chicken than the normal nuggets. Will pass on the spicy next time.
