i am a regular customer and highly upset at the sandwich i got today. i posted 2 pics of what should be a cheese sub! it had about 2 slices of cheese and the rest was filler.. not a good way to get recommendations
Honestly, their not like they used to be food wish. (Subs ?) They are pretty big subs I will say. Extra large will feed 4 ppl..

This place was so good we ate here multiple times during the week we were here for vacation. We have eaten at many sub places in the Wilmington area, and none compare to this place! Not only was every type of sub we had amazing, the service was impeccable as well! They even wrapped us subs to go for our drive back home! If you are in the market for subs, please do not go anywhere but here!

On my 30 min. lunch break I ordered a small mushroom cheesesteak that was hot & tender.
This was a very good cheesesteak. It had a very good meat flavor. Traditionalists will love this cheesesteak. Unfortunately I want to talk about everything else. Maryland Ave Sub Shop has new owners, Jamie and John (?). They grew up in Wilmington and are giving back to the community. Their other venture, Green Box Market, won ‘best of’ Delaware Vegan Food last year. Green Box Market grows most of their raw materials in their own Urban Garden. They hire inner city kids/teens/people. While the kids/teens/people are working they are also learning about being entrepreneurs and healthy eating options.
