Coming from Philly to Delaware the best soul food in Wilmington Lena’s is the best. Very hospitable, quick service and friendly. 5 star rating
1. The store was dirty.2. I called in to order take out and was told I couldn’t order until I give my credit card information (please note, they have a card reader in the store, and I was driving).3. I still went to get food and the worker was very rude and yelling at the customer before me because she wanted more sauce on her meat.4. After deciding to order just 2 sides as they didn’t have all I wanted, the worker told me the cost, $6.00 as sides are $3.00 a piece (please note, this is listed everywhere). The worker then typed $8.00 into the register and I said, didn’t you just tell me the price is $6.00, and her response was, “the price went up.” I decided that even after they were disrespectful and trying to scam me, I would simply pay and leave.5. The food was okay.
THIS IS NOT A DO OVER!!! After being told it would be 5 mins. it took about 45 mins. The food was delicious, but i was charged $15 for 2 very thin narrow strips of fish on a slice of bread very small helping of mac n chez with a small serving of cold potatoe salad which was placed inside same container next to the HOT FOOD IN hot container. The owner needs to serve portion compatible to whAt she charges…
Food was delicious! Customer Serivce was excellent! Loved the chicken wings! They were seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Tried it for the first time today. Had the jerk chicken platter with mac and cheese and some chicken and dumplings on the side. Sooooo good. Portions were good, price was 11 bucks and left my fat belly feeling full. Dont pay any attention to the cheapskate who said it wasn't worthwhile. I'll be there for lunch at least once a week from now on.
Ant' Bumpys has been around for years. Great food. Every bite taste's like Sunday dinner at Big Mommas house. She has all the classic soulfood items on the menu. And the watermelon ice tea is The Bomb!!!
Just left from there and got the chicken platter with Mac and cheese and collard greens… They did not disappoint !!! It was so good
