Stopped by this place for some pizza based on some recommendations. A little thought to find because of the small sign and pizza shop is on the side. The pizza was great. Specialty pizzas are based on local areas. Great crust and pizza is loaded with toppings. Had no issues with service like other reviews. Will definitely return

A top 3 best pizza spot for authentic Italian brick-oven style pizza. They start with high quality ingredients and it only gets better from there. The brick-oven baked gnocchi is must try. With a varied menu and great mix of pizza creations, as well as build your own pizza option, the choices can surely satisfy everyone in your party. The Margherita is a true classic, the closest you’ll get to true pizza Napoletana in New Castle County. A personal favorite, The Rockford Park is exceptional(I like it without the tomato sauce. I call it The Rockford Park in winter, it’s the one with arugula in the pics) Try it, it’s phenomenal. When I’m craving authentic Italian pizza, this is my destination!

Easily the best Pizza in Wilmington. All their food is always solid, staff are friendly and attentive. Try to get their early or during off peak hours. If ordering take out for dinner, order early as it’s going to be a long wait, especially on an end of the week night. If I had one criticism it’s that they need another pizza oven to keep up with demand during busy hours.

I agree with the poster who called out the horrible attutide and rude service! I called for take-out pizza here earlier this week...our first time since friends highly recommend it. Mistakenly, I put the order under my husband's first name instead of my name as we normally do when ordering take out. He went to pick up our pizza and gave my name. The guy working the take-out said "no such name" and rolled his eyes. My husband apologized and said "oh sorry, it's probably under my name then". The guy actually said to him "do you have any idea what you are doing?" Talk about RUDE!!!!! Surly, belligerent, I'm sure there more words to describe this horrible customer service. Won't go back. Pizza was okay, but there are too many other places in Wilmington to go where the staff is friendly and cordial.

These guys have THE BEST pizza oven! They make their mozarella in house. They have garlic oil you can eat on your pizza crusts. They make drinkies and their spot is right next to a brewery that you can try new beers at. We have been many many times and only had an "okay" experience once. Every other time has been stellar. The "okay" time we had a slower than normal bartender..we usually eat at the bar, so drinks and food was a little delayed. And pizzas were good, but my Margherita could have been a little better done cause my pizza piece points were floppy. Those are pretty miniscule problems to have.

Great pizzas, but haven’t tried anything else yet. Toppings are super fresh, the dough is flavorful, crispy and chewy. Everyone is very nice there, love stopping in!

We attended a party where pizza from La Pizzeria Metro was served to the guests. I tried the plain cheese pizza and the margherita pizza. Both were very good, but I think I preferred the margherita over the plain cheese. Crusty was thin and crispy. I cannot comment on price or service since I was a guest, but the food I had was very good. IF I was in the area, I would definitely order from here.

Had the honor of celebrating one of my birthday month celebration at the third Thursday's pizza making class (La Pizzeria Metro) and Wine Tasting (FranksWine). Hanging with my sister, daughter and friends priceless.

Excellent flavor combinations for the specialty pizzas. My favorite is the Monkey Hill with ricotta! My husband enjoys a traditional pepperoni pie. Great appetizers, especially the long hots. This popular restaurant makes everything fresh so be prepared to wait. Friendly staff.

Delicious wood fired pizza with a incredible sweet mariana sauce. Something about the sauce is enticing and makes you want more of it.The garlic knots were a bit overcooked to our liking.
