Off night or downward trend? This is my go-to local spot for Indian food. It's never been great but it's always been good and has earned my repeat business. Ordered takeout tonight and WOW things have changed. Maybe the chef was on vacation but the food was down right inedible. The Dal Soup was burnt and all the chicken was dry to the point it couldn't be eaten. Think I'll give some other spots a try and then come back and see if they've righted the ship. Come on India Grille, pick it up, North Wilmington needs good Indian food!

Great portion size, phenomenal food, & the customer service unmatched. I will absolutely be coming here for my Indian cuisine every time!

Excellent service! Fantastic food! Our waiter Shaik Chisty is a wonderful, kind, funny, loving, and caring person. Once we walked in we were welcomed with his bright smile! The setting in this restaurant brings peace when it comes to eating some amazing food! This spot is recommended!

I visited this restaurant for a takeout order. After standing at the entrance for about five minutes, a woman greeted me from afar but did not help me. Two minutes after that, a man also greeted me from the other side of the restaurant but did not help me. After waiting for a few more minutes, I noticed a table designated for takeout orders inside of the restaurant. I walked over to the table to check to see if my order was there. The man sharply yelled from across the room and ordered me not to touch the bag I was expecting to see if it was mine. I explain to the man that I was waiting at the front but was not assisted. He cut me off and demanded that I tell him what order I was looking for. I immediately asked a man not to speak to me in that manner. He again asked sharply what order I was looking for. Instead of arguing, I chose to walk away without my food. I am not a child and need not be addressed as such.

The food is delicious, but the restaurant is consistently poorly staffed (even pre-pandemic), and the food takes forever to be prepared, especially for takeout. Would come here more often if they were properly staffed and the wait for the food wasn’t so bad.

Terrible service here…We came here just for a snack bite1st we noticed others seated at other tables were greeted with a complimentary starter, but we got only water at our tableWe ordered papdi chaat, as you can see in the picture there is no papri(flat puri), moreover it came just with chickpeas, cucumber, potatoes, mint and tamarind chutney all very COLD. They completely ruined the definition of Indian Chaat. The chaat was VERY Bad Tasting..the chef needs to really work on making real Indian Chaat.Next we ordered onion BhajjiIt was good to taste but super oily, no sides or sauce. We even asked for a side ketchup but nothing was served … like the server completely ignored us.The one star is for the masala tea which was the ONLY good item we had here.Strongly advice not to visit if you plan on having starters here !!!!

This was my first experience here and the waiter was very eager to explain different dishes and help with our choices. Will definitely return for great food!

slow slow slow. pickup orders take hours!?!

Good food and they are fast! I have always enjoyed the food here! Word to the wise, ask them for utensils when ordering take out and make sure you are careful with the spice levels. Overall I will eat here for some good authentic Indian food!

Each item was wonderful! Highly recommend the extensive menu.
