The best vegan food in the state of Delaware hands down. Nice atmosphere and the playlist is almost as good as the food. The hardest part is trying to buy just one entree. It was my first time, but it surely won’t be my last.
Not just the best Vegan Restaurant in Delaware, but one of the best spots in Delaware period. Friendly, inviting crew that has created plant-based versions of traditional comfort foods. The owners Shawn and Charmayne will greet you, seat you and stop by to make sure everything is perfect, which it is consistently. It's hard to recommend just one dish, so bring some friends and try them all. Portions are great, food always fresh and smiles all around.
The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The food was amazing. My soul smiled!
I was referred to this place in my new hometown of Delaware from Philly... And it didn't disappoint!!! Where can you go to eat and you walk in the door and the place doesn't have an unpleasant odor? Go Vegan_Philly that's where! The food is health conscious and taste amazing!! The decor on the walls make me smile with people who look like me and the music is ELECTRIFYING TO my soul!! Different cheesesteak #1014 in the last four years. I think I am done with Vegan. They call their cheesesteak the Broad Street Bully. Normally it is all Oyster Mushrooms. I paid the extra $1 for half ground Impossible Meat and half oyster mushrooms. Looking at the menu now I see why I don’t remember tasting cheese, there isn’t any cheese. I got it with everything. The roll was soft and everything fell out on every bite. Everything did add a lot of flavor. The 2 halves of oyster mushrooms I found in my cheesesteak were very tasty. They had some kind of sauce on them and it was very good. $18.50, you know I didn’t like that. It did come with a lot of crispy french fries. The french fries added a needed crisp to an otherwise messy meal. The very good news is that I took it to Rockford Tavern and every beer is $3 on Thursdays. I got to dollar cost average my meal down.
Outstanding comfort food, super nice chef/owner, and good atmosphere. The Broad Street Bully was amazing - highly recommended! Looking forward to going back and sampling more from the menu.
I got their E.V.E. last visit. It was the most delicious sandwich to eat. The oyster mushrooms were crunchy and flavorful. Their custom sauce added boastful taste, despite being a bit overwhelming. Their payment system was quick and easy. The experience was delightful overall.
