Stopped in for lunch and was in and out in about half and hour. Festive but subdued atmosphere, speedy and friendly service and excellent prices on the lunch menu which is offered 11am-2:30pm 7 days a week. The enchiladas poblanos plate was a very satisfying portion and came with both beans and rice for $7. Will definitely come here more often.
Great food and great service. Dined there 3 or 4 times, never an issue. Was there on Mother's Day and the place was slammed. Food came out quick and hot. Can't wait to go back.
Not good at all.1. The service sucks. There were 7 people and they brought out 6 glasses of water, fine easy mistake but then it takes them 15 more minutes to get out a 7th glass. We asked for a pitcher of margaritas with 5 glasses rimmed with salt. They brought out 4 glasses with no salt. We had to ask them for salt and then again had to badger them for the 5th glass. We were given the choice of a side of beans or rice for one of the dishes - we asked for beans and they gave us rice.2. They overcharged us. We bought a pitcher of margaritas they charged us for it twice. For the above mentioned issue with the rice instead of beans, when we told them we had asked for beans and not the rice, they charged us extra for a side of beans. We asked for some jalapenos on our nachos, they charged us 2 dollars for 4 slices of jalapenos.3. The food is abysmal. I ordered Chicken enchiladas, the chicken was SO DRY it was sucking moisture out of my mouth. The nachos were not layered and so there were no ingredients on the lower half.Don't waste your time at this restaurant. There are a TON of better Mexican restaurants in the area.
First time to El Maya. We all really enjoyed our meals. The food and drinks were great and the service and crew were too notch. Large menu selections. Looking forward to our next visit
Food tastes really good. They use actual magic to keep it hot while you wait for the heat death of the universe before they bring it out to you. Staff is really nice. Recommend this place if you have time to kill.

I don't understand how this place has such high reviews. Below average service. Terrible drinks. I ordered a margarita and it was too sweet. How do you screw up a marg at a mexican place? Food was just ok...next day I felt sick and I have stomach of steel. If this was the only mexican place around, I would say go but there are mexican places every 10 feet around here so go somewhere else.
Very delicious and very nice service, lots of laughs with family, and very first time I went so, do 100% recommend
Have been going for 2 yrs now always great except our last visit asked for no peppers and still go them in my food waitress did not care when I told her and got and attitude and had to ask another server to get us drinks probably will not go back spoke to manager who did not care as well.
