The young lady as the bartender was the saving grace. When I first walked in, there was no sign asking people to wait or sit or a hostess stand, nothing. The two waitress standing at the bar never even turned around. Finally the bartender signaled me to sit down anywhere I wanted The bartender also came around and served and waited on me. The restaurant was not at all busy with only 4 tables at all with people at them. Later 3 other employees with their name are the restaurant on their shirts sat at the table and drank. I asked the bartender for a daiquiri. She did not know how to make one but I showed her online and she did a very good job for her 1st one. The food was good. The beans were a little runny but other than that, pretty good food. Waitstaff stayed at the bar the entire time helping some tables here and there. Mostly they sat at the bar and ate or drank. Visually not the best look for a restaurant.

A very honest review:We've been coming here for the weekend nightlife; the bar and dance floor, DJ - it's all great! They always have a great music Latin music selection. The bar is always great with their drinks. I would rate their nightlife/club/bar a 4.5 ⭐Today we decided to come out for Mother's Day @ 6:30pm, and on Sundays they offer seafood @ half-off. Their food service is a 1-star ⭐ I'm sorry but c'mon Maguey! How about ya hire actual people that have experience with serving/waiting tables, especially when it comes to handling a table of 10+ people. Our drinks came out in plastic cups, not how they're shown on the menu (for the nightlife I understand plastic cups, but lunch/dinner be more presentable). Our waitress looked stressed/overwhelmed, she missed taking someone's order from our party ?? We placed our orders around 6:45/50, it felt like an eternity waiting for our food - it was 8:10 and still no food. Not once did our waitress ask how we're doing, no update, not asking us if we needed refills or another drink. Eventually the food started to come out.... Mi mujer was still waiting on her food while everyone else had theirs, we asked our waitress where her plate was and she was like, "oh... What did you order again?" Wait what?!? She didn't just forget one order, she forgot someone else's order of tacos that we just said leave them alone. She wasn't picking up the done plates to make room on the table, we had to tell her what to take. Didn't come around asking if we needed refills, more napkins, NOTHING.The food was delicious, don't get me wrong on that part, but THEIR FOOD SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Our check even came out wrong after she had already taken our card to run it, she comes back with another total; and too top it off, we had placed a to-go order mid eating our food; we finished our plates, we were ready to go, asked where the to-go order was, our waitress told us it'll be out in a few. 10min passed, no food. 15min pass, no food, 30min passed, no food. Our table started to clear out and STILL NO TO-GO ORDER! Someone from our party had to go to the bar, request an update on the to-go order, and kept telling her, "it'll be out soon." What about an update, why's the food taking so long; did ya forget?!? That's ridiculous, an HOUR for a to-go order....... NEVER again! Save your time and money people, just go here for the nightlife and NOT FOR A FAMILY LUNCH/DINNER.Food service: 1-starFood: 4-starsMusic: 5-starsWeekend nightlife: 5-starsWe'll just stick to coming out on the weekends at night for the dancing, not to have lunch or dinner.
Food was ok but far below expectations. I had tacos carnita when asked if I wanted onion and cilantro I said yes of course.. I got onion but very few flakes of cilantro like they used one leaf for all three tacos.. a margarita in a plastic glass.. spells cheap! The carnita was shredded super fine, no little chunks at all, still good but I've had better. My guest had the shrimp that looks just like the pics here on the web page but not like on the menu. So 3 tacos and 1 shrimp meal 1 margarita 1 bottle of water and 2 beers ce to $68.00You can pay with credit card but can not put tip on card. I would not go there again.
If I could, I would give it 0 stars out of 5. Lowest is 1 star. So I went to celebrate 2 birthday parties. I went on Tuesday, which they called it Taco Tuesdays there. The service was SUPER Rush.!!! No professionalism at all from our waiter. And after we decided to stay for the free music live, another waiter ( which wasn’t attending our table) decide to push us out the door because we weren’t “Consuming”. We had a bucket of beers, and were drinking, and the other waiter wanted us to buy more drinks and tip her. What a waste of time and money. Here.P:S. It was my first time going there and it will be my last time going there. We went on February 22, 2022

I live in the apartment next door and every weekend there is a fight and even gun shots.. I know it’s not the owners fault but they need to limit who they let in or have security in the back parking lot (where all the fights happen)
