It was national burrito day last week. Who knew there was such a freaking ridiculous thing!? But I found a list online that had the best burrito joint in each state listed. I looked because I was going to call BS if it wasn't El Diablo in DE. But lo and behold, El Diablo it was! I guess it's not really that big a secret. I think my son would get their pitchfork devil mascot guy as a tattoo if he wasn't only 12.
THERES A CATCH TO THIS REVIEW.... I love this place. The food is always excellent.. And the service is even better. I live far away so it very seldom that I get this to eat.... Today went in and didn't have any cash on me so the girl said they would have to take my info... I was like well I suppose so... but by the time I ordered they had it fixed... So I ordered 2 chicken quasadillas... and UNFORTUNATLY THEY DID NOT FILL ONE OF MY QUASADILLAS UP.. ONE OF THE QUARTER PIECES OF QUASADILLA WAS NOTHING.. THESE THINGS ARE NOT CHEAP THIS IS NOT SATISFACTORY...These things are like 12 dollars. THIS WAS MY FAMILYS DINNER...... VERY DISSAPPOINTED EL DIABLO..You can do better than that... I don't eat Chipotle... I am assuming they are similar. I will have to check them out.

My family was introduced to El Diablos when my oldest daughter started working there. Of course, we had to visit to see her. We’re glad we did. We had no idea what to expect. Almost everyone has eaten a burrito in their lives, but you really haven’t had a burrito until you visit El Diablo. They have a special burrito menu that they suggest of steak, pork, chicken or even fish. You aren’t required to get what they suggest as you can design your own. The chips are made on site. They have much more than burritos, but that’s what I go for. It’s a great place for takeout, but you can certainly eat there. When we went there were only 2 restaurants. Today there are four. If you haven’t eaten there, it’s a Delaware must!

Great fresh food every visit! It's always hard to decide what to get with so many delicious options from steak to pork to vegetarian fare. I especially love their housemade chipotle ranch and lime shallot vinaigrette. Fair prices for the portions.

This is my favorite el Diablo location, (and I believe their first?). In my opinion this location tends to have the most consistent food. Their hot peppers are always fresh and everything is very well prepared. It’s definitely ideal for take away on busy nights because the inside is pretty small. I always get a chicken burrito or a burrito bowl.
Great food!! I get Kennet mushroom burrito or lime steak burrito!! They mixed mine today but they normally don't!! I also get chips and queso!! With burrito and chips came to 18$.. I also added guacamole they charge 2.75!! The chips and queso was 4$ more!! Thanks for having great food!!!
