Showed up on a Saturday night around 9pm not knowing what to expect. This is a restaurant bar combo with a nice large outdoor space. The parking right next to the restaurant was valet but free parking is nearby, you just have to walk a bit more. The food was average. The drinks were sweet, but decent.Vegetarian options: There's a black bean burger, vegan pasta, and some apps that are vegetarian like fried cheese curds
The food presentation was absolutely great! The taste was delicious! The one thing about it was that since we didn't have a reservation they were about to not take our food order because they have a big volume of people but one of the staff came and said she could do it. Great attention from her. Lovely outside area great to chill and relax with friends. Inside there was a singer but we decided to be out and enjoy the view.
This is great for the outdoor, bar food and drinks experience. I don't recommend dining indoors as the food is not that great. The waterfront, music, and fresh air makes this a great spot to go with friends after a movie for a drink and some appetizers. The cornbread is amazing!
We went for dinner on a weekend night. Be prepared with $5 for valet parking or you will end up down by Iron Hill. The location is great but there were many open tables, at the time we went, right by the river but they sat us right near the entrance. I wonder who gets those tables lol. The food was....OK. the service very slow. Looks like it turned into a great party spot though by the time we were leaving.
A good experience on a rainy day.Two large bars, one inside, one on the patio (not open the day we visited). Patio has a lot of seating, low wall with good views of the river and the walk. Located on a bend in the river, the view extends in 3 directions. While fairly small, the menu had some creative, out of the ordinary offerings. I enjoyed the short ribs (super tender and tasty). My wife had grilled chicken breaststroke with Asian veggies; it was lovely. The vibe is sports bar and hangout with a good restaurant. The beer selection is small and heavy on IPA, I had a hard cider (okay, sweet, I prefer dry - should have asked).Understated, appealing decor. Tables and seating well spaced as one would expect in this covid world. Staff was pleasant and did their jobs well, nothing special either way.Good place to stop along the walk or while waiting for curtain at the nearby theater.
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and poor. I went to this restaurant on a Friday night around 7pm to meet socially with a few friends. I was advised by one of the workers that seating was limited to a certain area for non reservations. After being seated to bar area table with a couple of my friends , waiting for service for about 30 minutes before being acknowledged, we were finally able to order or drinks and meal. After waiting about 30 minutes for our drinks to come (which was served by a 16 year old), we were asked to give up or seating to make room for another group of people. I explained to the server that we just ordered our food and had been seated for over 1 hr. The server became rude and told us to move or she will call security. We then asked to speak to the Manager. About a minute later, the server came over with security, stating that the server complained and stated that she was verbally abused and threatened which did not happen. Basically, the server was pulling a “Karen” for whatever reason to either have us give up or tables or cause conflict. I asked the security to confirm with the bartender 4 feet away to clarify that we were told that it was ok to be seated at that spot and the time frame that we were seated. The security indicated that the server reported she was threatened and verbally abused by me me so I had to leave. My friends accompanying me also explained to security that what the server reported did not happen. I asked the security to speak to the Manager, which he did. The Manager was unwilling to hear us out. At this point, we left the restaurant and went to Taco Grande where the service was much better.
I had the pleasure of dining here on a Saturday afternoon shortly after they opened at 4pm. They offer indoor and outdoor seating so I chose outdoor seating. The sun was shining but it was still a nice mild April day. I ordered the tall Voodoo Ranger beer (yum), the jerk chicken egg rolls (nice size rolls and not overly spicy), and the Farmstead pizza. I enjoyed the pizza. There’s no red sauce which worked great for my partner who has acid reflux. We plan to return and try other items on the menu and walk along the water to burn some calories afterwards.
This restaurant is one of the best ones in the Wilmington Riverfront area. When all the other places are crowded, this one usually has a little to no wait at all, even on busy days. The food here is great, and it is priced fairly and comes out to the table rather quickly. In the summertime, the outdoor patio makes the experience better because of how easy it is to access from the main walkway and the live music that plays outdoors.
Came here for a banquet party and the food was delicious! The pasta was outstanding! Thr banquet room space was nice. Didnt encounter much staff so nothing to report there. But that pasta dish will have me back for sure!!
Restaurant looked so interesting with outside deck. However inside has nothing to offer. Bathrooms were in poor condition. Could tell no one is in them to clean up. Food was not very good. Buffaloes shrimp coating fell off, fried cheese curds were nothing more than mozzarella sticks cut into squares. Jerk chicken egg rolls were hot and spicy but no taste other than heat. Pizza with seafood on it was nothing special. Won’t go back not sure if we will visit this area again. Nothing special.
