20% service fee for what? Snuck in a delaware tax. First I’ve seen. Food was mediocre at best.

The food was subpar, which was a let down because the menu sounded exciting. Just very bland. The outside patio was very cute but too hot to sit outside. The AC was not on inside, so probably should have sat outside. Warm beers delivered to the table. Service was lackluster. Just a letdown all together for a place I heard rave reviews about.

group of 4 visited for 1st time before a concert across the street. great location for a meal prior to an event at the Grand. Service was outstanding. Pleasant and attentive, nice atmosphere, although it quite noisy as more patrons arrived. Food was good, although 2 members of our party ordered the turkey burgers and both commented that they were bland. Great selection of beers on tap and bottled as well as cocktails. Prices were reasonable.

Ordered a burger med well..it was rare…showed the server..she said yeah it’s a little pink ,I can take it back…we had tickets to a show I told her we couldn’t wait..dropped the bill and I see the service charge and realized that’s why she didn’t care…went over to the show and a couple people told me yeah it’s overpriced and not that great ..well now I know not to go back when I’m there for my concert next month

Great food and love that it’s across from the Opera House.

Chelsea Tavern is our go to place. We always have great food and service. My husband especially likes their great beer selections.

Ordered med well burger..got rare.. Told server , she said yes it was kind or pink should she take it and make another.. we didn’t have time we had tickets to a show so I told her no but I wasn’t going to eat it.. she brought us the bill and had not removed the raw hamburger that was still sitting on my plate and they added a nine dollar service charge for our table so I even had to tip her for not doing anything about it..won’t be going back Also she never checked to see if the others food was ok.. obviously with an instant gratuity she did not care

The chef gnocchi special was delicious. Pittsburg medium steak was peppered, perhaps to blacken? Made it difficult to enjoy, as I am sensitive to heavy spice. The tables were very close, which elevated the noise level, making it difficult to have dinner conversations without including your neighbors table. The 20% service charge seemed a bit extreme, considering the cost for travel to dine. Then the tip on top added another 20%, making us have second thoughts about eating out in the future. Service was okay, as a saving grace, especially since they were so busy. It is close to the Grand, which was a plus.

Basic food. Burger didn't have much flavor. Staff not terribly knowledgeable but nice enough. Probably wouldn't go back. Seems like good place for apps and beers.

Excellent service and food. From the moment of seating, immediately served and drinks were great! I would definitely come back again.
