Great Food and Service. Good prices. It has not been updated since the 60's and that only adds to the experience. I arrived at 7:30 for dinner and 20 people came in right after me of varying ages.
boyfriend and I stopped in to grab a very quick bite & drink on our way to Philly for a concert and service was SO quick and the bartender was super sweet. Didn’t get her name but I absolutely loved her.Really great bar food. The mozzarella sticks were perfect (def recommended by me, a self-proclaimed mozz stick connoisseur).Got a malted milkshake to-go and it was absolutely delicious!!!
The staff were friendly and the kids menu was great. Even had the option to get a clown sundae for the kids for about $2. I had the bison burger, it was okay. Just a standard burger. Had to deduct a star for that as well as the waiter giving us broken used crayons for kids until they found one.
SO good! Everything is delicious. Cooked for your order and classic. Our waitress was fantastic, just like the food.
The Strawberry Milkshake was delicious and the char burger was deliciouslu fresh and juicy. Soon as I took a bite I was instantly transported to the 50's no lie! My 7 year old doesn't eat burgers from anywhere but here. I will be returning to try more.
The ice cream here is amazing, the meal, not so much. Dry, bland steak, soggy fries...but that sundae was bomb
This is a place is you like just an old fashion burger. As the name states, the burger tastes like it's cooked over an open flame. I'll definitely try it again. Great place if you like an old fashion setting.
Had dinner here with my son after a basketball game. Service and food were great. Black and bleu salad was amazing.
Some of the most memorable ice cream I've had recently. The root beer float was perfect and the vanilla ice cream was a treat to my taste buds. Mac and cheese wedges were perfect how we like them.The burger could have been a bit less cooked. I had ordered medium rare but it was close to well done. Yet the taste was still good and fresh. The bun is a nice sturdy vessel that didn't get overly soggy.
Me and wife went out for Berger's... both ordered bacon cheese Berger's med well and both came out raw my wife's actually squirted blood when cut it in half..sent them both bk mine was fixed with a new one cook right my wife ed on the other hand was still real red ..it could be understood if they were busy but it was only 6 people in the hole place. I will say the mngr did come out to speak to us only to find out he was the one cooking he did take one of the burgers off the bill . Been here many times but wont be bk after this.!!
